I never thought I'd be so caught up in my own feelings. People on the outside looking in would call me "selfish" or "cold-hearted". But that's the funny thing about today that I love. Yesterday I was so in love with someone who treated me like a friend. "Friend". And then tomorrow I realized you weren't what I wanted anymore.
*ding*
I picked up my phone knowing it was a snapchat from you.
*NEW SNAP FROM CHRIS*
I scoffed and ignored the notification. It's been three years I've been hung up on Chris. I've known him since the 8th grade and was always crazy about him. Any and everything I talked about was about Chris. Can you say mention-itis?
He was 5'10. Muscular football player. Chocolate. Funny and goofy. Nice ass teeth. Just how I like em. Even though he was everything I thought I wanted I was so blind of how bad our relationship was.
*IM FROM CHRIS*
Chris: "You ignoring me?"
Me: "No I'm just busy"
Chris: "Lol"
Me: "My head hurts"
Chris: "Lol"
Me: "Is all you say is 'lol'"?
Chris: "Loll"
Me: "Adding another l doesn't change anything -_-"
Chris: "Lol"
I got so infuriated with Chris and his nonchalant attitude I locked my screen and watched television.
It was 10 pm crunch time for me. In real life words that means Martin is on and I'm winding down about to get into bed and not go to sleep.
*Little sister opens the door and peeps into my room*
Me: " What do you want Skylar?"
Sky: "What you doing Lani?"
Me: "Minding my business. Get out Sky. "
Sky: "Fine. You don't have to be rude."
She rolls her eyes and leaves.
I was already aggravated and it kept continuing.
