"I saw him in the hall, and we had gym together with Liyah also, they were talking" she said and I raised my eyebrows

"Lord we do not need Demarcus to start his bulkshit either" I said and she laughed 

"He looks like the quiet type too, y'all would be perfect" she said and I furrowed my eyebrows

"I'm tired of lightskins"

"Your best friend is light skin" she chuckled

"But girl that's my friend, we're not attracted to each other" I told her and she sighed loudly

"I wish y'all would stop playing with each other already."

I put the weight on the bar before slightly getting up

"I don't even want a nigga, they all can go to hell." I said before catching my breath

"Respectfullyyy" Aniya chuckled before switching places with me.

That night-
Liyah-

"I know this is a important game to y'all, but if I'm being honest this game isn't more then any other game, so if y'all get out here and play like y'all don't got no good training y'all will make it up in practice" my coach said and we all sighed

"But I'm proud of y'all, y'all practiced and played hard, let's grind harder after break." She said and everybody nodded before we all placed a hand on everybody's back in the circle we made

We began rocking side to side while chanting and the home crowd did the same thing before we broke out of the huddle cheering and running to line ups

They began introducing state 5 and since I was last I waited as my team ran through the tunnel that the cheerleaders created.

Everyone cheered for us all as we ran through individually before going to our designated spots. I took a deep breath before focusing

The opposing team had went up for a shot and I boxed out before rebounding and passing it to the player who was running point at the moment.

She called a play and my teammate screened the girl who was guarding me before the ball got passed to me and I shot is before making my 4th three.

The other team's coach threw the clip board on the group before calling a time out and we all cheered before running over to our side

I was tired as hell and was ready to be subbed out for a minute.

Marcus held the water bottle above my mouth before squirting it inside and I drank it before resting my hands on my knees

"You straight ?" He asked and I nodded before lifting up for more.

We did a small hand shake before he sat my water bottle down and smiled

"Keep doing what you doing, you fucking they heads up." He said and I gave him a smile before following my team onto the court.

This time they had a taller girl guarding me which wasn't scaring me at all. It was a little harder to get around her but I still managed.

I was getting tired as hell moving around her and I began to feel dizzy.

They went up for a shot and as I went to box her out I felt her foot wrap around my leg causing my body to shift and I fell directly on my knee. Causing me to pull up to my chest

Everything got blurry and I heard ringing in my ears as I yelled in pain.

The ref blew his whistle before running up to me and I saw Ary, Jr, Marcus, and Jd do the same.
