Chapter 11: RESULT IS OUT!!!

Today is the day that our results are coming out to say I am nervous is an understatement because if I dont pass my important subjects my dad wont let me hear the last of it honestly, we are all going to the cybercafe to check the result together trying to be morally supportive. My phone rang and it is a group call from the gang we have not found a name but we are a gang now. "Hi" I greeted them "Hey boo" Sharon greeted "Bro, when are we going to the café?" "I am on my way guys; you guys should be there when I get there." They just scoffed. Zainab finally spoke, "Hi Chuka, you are giving me a ride to the café and I cant see you anywhere near my house why?" I just laughed, "Violent much I just entered the car I will see you in fifteen, bye guys" I cut the call and entered the car. "Hi John, Zainabs house please" he nodded and started the car while I looked through Instagram specifically through Zainabs Instagram, she has five thousand plus followers and it is not a surprise because goddamn she is beautiful.

When we got to Zainabs house she was outside waiting for us with a scowl on her face, she got into the car "You are late, why?" I just smiled she hates it when I am late "sorry mama it was the traffic" I put my hand on her shoulders, we are not dating because I need to summon the courage to ask her out and we are going to the same university and studying the same course, no those were my choices before we had anything the school is good and I love the course so yeah.

We got to the café and the gang were outside waiting for us "Hey babe" Dumebi said, I scowled at him he just laughed and shook his head, they have this cute sibling thing going on and I am comfortable at all, The three of us are going to the same school he is studying a different course Computer Engineering. Okay now it is time the six of us are sat at different computers after buying our card from the owner of the café. We sat down at our computers. I put my pin and my result I passed. Oh my God I passed. Zainab screamed meaning that she passed, Sharon, Amanda and Dumebi screamed meaning good news remaining Tunde okay he has a smile meaning everything is good I am so happy my CADTSZ gang are now officially through with secondary school. This calls for celebration because it was not easy we did not sleep but let us go and give our families the news we ran to our cars and promised to meet the next day, I drove Zainab home, when we got inside her parents were waiting for her meaning they wanted to know her score, she gave the paper to her father. He screamed I would have if I was him 7As and 2Bs is enough to knock anyone out and I am certain she is the highest I am proud of her. They all congratulated her, her father turned to me "So, Chukwuka what did you get?" I smiled "Oh sir no Fs I got 5As and 4Bs" he smiled "Good good that is the kind of result I like to see in this house, now go and show your father and send him our regards" I love that man he is so chilled. I walked in and dad is in the parlour with my aunty "So?" my aunt asked "Okay I did not fail I got 5As and 4Bs, that is...." I was cut off with a scream from her she is soo extra my dad smiled "I am proud of you, now go and change lets eat the lunch your aunt prepared in anticipation of a good result" I laughed and ran upstairs and changed but not before looking at my phone from a message from the gang I am so happy for us we got a lot of As and that is because we actually read.
