'You up?'

I made a disgusted look at my screen.

I picked up my phone and I unlocked it, opening the messaging app, finally saying, after three dates of knowing he's not the one.

'Yes, indeed I am, it's 10:30 in
the afternoon. Also, I am sorry
to inform you that I dislike you
in every way possible.'

It was a couple of minutes until he responded with.

'But we're still on for
tomorrow, right?'

My jaw tightened with anger and then I smirked.

I blocked his number immediately.

I put my phone back down on the charging pad and I got up off my bed and I went to the kitchen, grabbing some snacks.

Loki's pov

I walked into the kitchen and I saw y/n trying to reach up to a cabinet.

But then I recognized the shirt she was wearing.

Hey, that's mine.

"Hello, y/n." I said and she jumped a little bit, putting her hand over her heart.

"Oh my god!" She yelled in surprise.

I smirked.

"You startled me." She said, in a slightly better mood than earlier.

I smiled.

"You're lucky I didn't scream, cause then I'd be in a bad mood." She said.

She reached up again, to a cupboard she can't even see in, and tried to grab a snack.

"Do you need help y/n?" I asked.

She smiled softly.

"Yeah, I need help grabbing a snack."

I smiled down at her, my hand reaching into the cupboard and grabbing a bag of chips.

"Ooh yay you grabbed the right one." She said.

I chuckled softly, giving her the bag.

She grabbed it and said "Thank you."

"You seem in a better mood." I smiled.

"You canceled the date, didn't you?" I said after reading her mind.

She sighed again.

"Don't read my mind Loki!" She said.

"Look, I didn't mean-" I started to say but then she walked away.

"Y/n." I said, and she turned around to look at me.

"What?" She said, obviously annoyed.

"I'm sorry, I just, I wanted to know if you were okay."

She made a confused look.

"Yeah, of course, I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?"

I chuckled nervously, smiling at her.

"You worry about me, don't you?"

"Yes, sometimes I worry when you don't come out of your room for a while, especially to eat."

She gave me a soft smile.

'Well, I guess it's better than no one caring about me.' She thought.

"You're reading my mind again, aren't you?"
