She was smiling and shit. I laughed

and she pushed my arm.

"So do y'all want to be a couple?"

" just because I kiss somebody dont mean I want to marry them. Pump ya breaks " She crazy. We laugh

" You know you want me. Why you playing! " I tease.

"Boy shut up!" She says.

We walking around the park looking at the river side. I put my arm around her.

"I remember when I ain't have no where to go I would come here. It would put me at ease." I say

It was late and I was in bed sleeping. I heard something hitting my window. I got up and looked out. Beast!

"What are you doing! Its 1am" I say.

"I don't know where else to go. I need someone to talk to"

"come up" He climb up the tree next to my window and I helped him in.

" What's wrong?' I ask.

"psh, some shit with my moms. She kicked me out. I didn't know where to go or who I could talk to. Before here I ended up at our spot by the river" I look at him.

" I'm sorry...Its late we got school tomorrow lets go to bed."

He was like my best friend and I would do anything for him. We laid down in my bed. Door locked because my mom would kill the both of us.

"Beauty " He whispered

"yes?"

" Thank you. For everything. And mostly for being a friend I can go to. For caring about me and having my back. I never want to lose you."

"Your welcome" After he didn't say anything. So we went right ahead to sleep.

We sat in back of the class. He was sleep.

" And #5 Mr.White?" The teacher call on him.

" He sleep!" People laughing and snickering knowing Beast is a clown and really doesn't care.

" Mr.White!" He smack the desk in front of ours. Beast jump a little.

"What!" He up now.

" This is a place for learning. Not for you to sleep!"

Beast just put his jacket over his head and went back to sleep. Everybody laughing.

" Mr.White how would you feel if I called your mother?'

" I wouldn't give a fuck. Fuck her" He is the worst. On that he went back to sleep.

" Get ya boy" I tell Marco. He laughed

" That nigga gonna do what he want. Ain't know getting him. He a fucking beast." He reply.

We in class taking a quiz. Last hour. Im tired. "Fuck is a Covalent bond?"

" Beast quiet!" Even some of our teachers call him that.

"When atoms share electrons. B" I help. He mark it.

The whole test he had to look off mines. "Beauty what's 12?" And so did the rest of the class.

"A answer now leave me alone" They laugh.

"She mean!"

Me and Beast sat outside on the bench after school.

"You want to graduate right?" I ask.

"Of Course!" He says.

" Ok well you need to get you act together and start acting like it. Because you playing yourself right now. You smarter then what you think" I tell him. " You need a tutor"

"No I need a smart girlfriend that will be here patiently by my side helping me" He hints. I look at him.

" Well go look for one" I tease.

" Im looking at her. Come on! You and me together! We are the best match for eachother. I promise not to hurt you. Promise not lie, a lot..." He is horrible I giggle. " And I promise to treat you like the best girlfriend, can it be me and you?"

" I guess we can if a try. If you break your promise we breaking up. But lets give it ago...." I tell him.

He hugged me tightly and pressed his lips to mines. I felt this was all right. But I didn't want him to hurt me in the end. But I want to be more then just friends......
