Prolouge
As a 18 year old girl; Samantha (Sam) struggles with balancing her school work, singing, family, and boyfriend Austin, she finds, that there are other roads she can take. With being the daughter of Reese Witherspoon, everyone expects her to become famous. As Sam takes on her difficulties of singing, school work, family, and boyfriend, she learns important lessons that teach her that not everything will be done the way you want them to be done.
Chapter 1: One Last Shot- Starter
Sam's POV
It was 5:00 in the morning when I had to wake up. My mom wakes me up everyday this early so I can fit in singing practice. I never really liked singing, I would rather become a model, an actress, or maybe even a dancer. But never a singer. As I got ready, it dawned on me that today was a Saturday. I wrapped myself in a towel, and ran down the stairs. I said "Mom! Today is Saturday! Yous said I got to sleep in on Saturdays!' She looked startled, then looked at a calender. She said in a surprised voice "Sorry hun. You can go back to bed." I walked upstairs, and put my sweat pants, and tank top on, then went back to bed. I started playing on my phone for a bit, then I guess I must've fell asleep with it on vibrate, because I woke up to an intersting vibrating on my face. It scared me at first, but then I checked my phone, and I had a text from my boyfriend Austin. It said 'Hey Babe! Goodmorning! I have a surprise for you later. Meet me in the park at 12:00. xx' I looked at my clock. It was already 11:30! I got up and dressed quickly since I had showered at 5:00am. I did my makeup, then my hair. I ran downstairs, and kissed my mom goodbye. She said "Make sure your back by 12 tonight." I laughed and then grabbed my purse and phone and left. I was at the park 2 minutes early. I sat on a bench, then Austin came up and kissed my cheek. He said"Hey Babe! So I want to show you something." He made me cover my eyes, then he lead me somewhere. He let me open my eyes, and I was carved into a tree "Sam I love you. You are the most beautiul girl I know, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He took my hand and helped me cimb up the tree. We reached the top, and then he had my sit on his lap. He kissed my neck, and then we sat and talked until it was probably 4:30 in the afternoon. He walked me home, and I asked him to come in. We walked in, and I saw my mom had passed out on the floor. I screamed, and Austin calmed me down. He had us bring her outside, and then he called and ambulance. He thought that maybe the air conditioner had been leaking carbon minoxide. The ambulance came, and they took my mo the the hospital. Me and Austin followed her in my car, and when we got their, we found out that Austin had been right. The doctors said that I couldn't go back to the house. Austin had me stay with him. His parents were on vacation, and they wouldn't be back for a while. His parents would never let a girl sleepover. I slept in the basement, and Austin was in the room upstairs. I had a dream where my mom didn't wake up, and them Austin got shot, so I didn't have anyone left. I guess I woke up screaming and crying because Austin came rushing down, and he spent the rest of the night with me.
Authors Note: Ok so sorry if this is a boring chapter. The first few chapters will be kind of broing, but it will get better, I promise!
