Chapter1:A new beginning

Levi huffed as he removed the sheets,shivering lightly as the cold air hit his body.Rubbing his tired eyes he made his way to his closet,lazily picking up his uniform and heading to the restroom. It was his final year in school and let's just say that he wasn't exactly that excited to see anyone....except for the (h/c) girl of course.They were childhood friends and it was a miracle that she could put up with what Levi did

Lazily stripping from his sweatshirt and shorts,he made his way into the shower humming as the water hit his figure.After enjoying his shower he walked out of the restroom,a towel loosely hanging around his neck. Quickly drying his damp hair,he picked up his backpack and his cravat as well,fixing it around his neck neatly.Closing his bedroom door he made his way to the kitchen,nose scrunching in disgust at the smell of burnt toast

"Did you burn it again?"he asked as his uncle turned to face the male,clicking his tongue in annoyance

"Why don't you do it then brat"Kenny barked.Levi sighed,grabbing two slices of burnt toast and placing it on his plate.Placing the plate on the table,he picked up two eggs from the refrigerator and made his way to the kitchen.Kenny groaned and removed the apron,handing it to the shorter male.He swiftly put on the apron,turning on the stove and grabbing a pan for the eggs.Placing the pan on the stove, he cut out a small chunk of butter and threw it on the pan.As the butter sizzled he broke the two eggs and watched as they began sizzling as well.He looked over his shoulder,glaring at his uncle's astonished face

"You don't need to be this surprised"he stated as he picked up a spatula,checking to see if they were cooked in the bottom

"Kuchel wasn't that good at cooking,don't know where you got it from"Kenny said as he ruffled his hair.Levi clicked his tongue in annoyance as he sprinkled some salt and pepper on his eggs.Humming to himself he picked up the eggs and placed them on his plate.Switching off the stove,he took a seat at the table as his uncle eyed his food.Levi darted his eyes to his uncle,eyebrows furrowing lightly

"What?"tone cold and annoyed

"I ain't getting an egg?"he asked,waiting for a response

"Eat shit,it'll taste better than you're cooking"levi spat as he chewed on a slice of toast,groaning as he bit the burnt ends

"Where did you get such a foul mouth from you little shit"

"Already answered your own question".Kenny clicked his tongue in annoyance as he took a seat beside the shorter male

"She ain't coming today-"before Kenny could finish his sentence the doorbell rang. He sighed making his way to the door,lips curling up into a small smile

"Good morning Kenny-san,Is Levi awake?"you questioned as Kenny ushered for you to come in.Thanking him,you took off your shoes and neatly put them in the side

"The brats eating now"he said as he motioned for you to come in.You complied and grinned as your eyes met his grey ones

"Levi eating,what a rare sight to behold"you snickered as he sighed before walking over to the kitchen and cleaning his plate and utensils.He wiped his damp hands on his apron before removing it and placing it on the kitchen counter

"Someone seems especially annoying today"he stated as you giggled

"It's our final year together...not like we won't be friends after this".It's true,you two grew up together.Your mothers were very close..that is until Kuchel contracted an incurable disease.She lost all her memories with her only son.Levi knew that she wouldn't live and convinced himself to stay strong,but how strong could he be?You stayed by his side during all that.You knew that it was hard for him even though he didn't show it.You both argued and even stopped talking after she passed on.Levi didn't want to show his 'weak side' but gave in.On the day he finally admitted it,you cried your eyes out while he quietly sobbed.That was five years back though
