maggie's a wild card so you don't know what to expect. you decide that you're going to be a good kid today. pay attention. take notes. finish all your missing assignments. mrs.harp begins teaching as you begin to write notes. about 15 minutes into class you're sketching a dinosaur on the corner of your page. mrs.harp claps her hands and you jump. she's standing right next to your table.

mrs.harp | audrey!

A | yes.

mrs.harp | you look focused.

A | yeah.

mrs.harp | where's your friend.

just then someone barges in the door... maggie, of course...

M | mrs. harp!! my girl.

maggie puts her arm around mrs.harp's shoulders.

M | don't you guys love her! i know.

she shoves mrs.harp back.

M | anyways. i'll be teaching today.

mrs.harp | MARGRET JAMES!

you immediately put your fist over your mouth. she did not just call maggie margret... this isn't going to go well....maggie's real name is margret but she HATES it and barley anyone knows that. she crosses out her name and puts maggie on every roster before class. she makes sure no one knows her name.

M | the fuck did you just call me?

A | maggie!

maggie hops down off her desk. mrs.harp goes to grab her.

mrs.harp | you're in big trouble.

M | no, you are, you bitch.

mrs.harp grabs her shoulder and maggie elbows her in the nose. you get up and run over to maggie.

A | maggie. what the - what are you doing.

M | you heard her. she has no right to call me that.

you walk maggie out of the classroom just to be met by security guards.

security | what do you think your doing.

A | seriously maggie?

the guys grab you and take you to the office. you sit there twiddling your thumbs. you decide to text payton.

what's up!

Payton
you need to pay attention in school.

Audrey
no need, i'm already in the office.

Payton
already? are you that bad of a kid.

Audrey
not really. it's a record.

your principal walks in.

you shut off your phone and slip it in your pocket.

principal janson (PJ) | what in the world were you girls thinking!

neither of you say anything.

PJ | you two broke mrs.harps nose. didn't show up to detention. have gotten dress coded countless times this semester. skipping school. bad grades. missing assignments. falling asleep in class. mid use of school materials and the list goes on.

M | oh keep going... i'd love to hear it.

you try to hold in your laugh.

PJ | that's only in school.

maggie slaps her hands down on the table and laughs.

M | you have our list of out of school shit too?!!

she laughs out loud again.

PJ | maggie calm down.

well long story short you get suspended...

you get let out of the office during passing period. the guards walk you out. you see amber walking from geography.

Am | hey! guys, woah... the hell did you do.

she walks fast by the guards.

M | i broke harp's nose

Am | you're kidding!!

M | and i'd do it again!

security | that's enough!

M | really?

maggie walks down the hall shouting and flipping everyone off. you decide, fuck it i'm out of here for 2 weeks anyways. you join her.

A | i hate all of you!!

M | that's my girl!! FUCK YOU BITCHESS!!

you give her a fist bump as you get walked the rest of the way out of school.

there wasn't too much payton in this chapter but there's more to come!
