Just the beginning

I was dreading today. Today my friends Hannah and Jessica convinced me that I had to go to a party with them since it was the end of the summer and I've been gone off traveling for fighting in different underground fighting arenas. I decided that I wouldn't hide as much this year. It's senior Year and I was not about to waste another semester hiding under my hoodies and sweats wearing my hair in ponytails everyday with my signature glasses. I mainly did this so that know who's attended underground fights would recognize but I also did it because I didn't care to impress. But this year I'm coming out of shell and showing that I might not give a crap about about my classmates but I'm not to messed with and they we see that this year.
The party is starting 11 and it is currently 6 and I decided to take a two hour run around the park in the complex I lived it in. The scenery wasn't bad the sun was out and I wore black runner shorts and a black sports bra. I loved black clothes it's what majority or my closet consists of. Making my last 15 I run home knowing I'll make it there by 8:30. It was starting to get dark and as I make it home I see Hannah's car in the drive way.
Ughh.. did I really think they were gonna let me get dressed by myself tonight ? Yes! Walking up to the front door pulling it open I run straight up to my room. There they are sitting on my bed watching a movie. Hannah notices me in the doorway and lifts up.
Heyy did you enjoy your run?
Yes I say squinting my eyes at her
Hey your parents still in LA? She ask
Yea they are and I thought we were gonna meet at your house?
Well I decided we should come over here and get dressed together here we brought our clothes and makeup.
Ughh I say going over into the bathroom to shower. I take off my sweaty clothes and slide inside the shower turning the water on hot. Washing my hair and doing my facial routine all together. Once I'm out Hannah and Jessica have started on there make-up I walk though my room to my closet. I pull on some black lace underwear then I turn to my black clothes section and pull out my black dress with no sleeves and a scoop neck and it stops mid thigh. Since my boobs are not big and are very perky the dress makes me look great I then go over to grab my black leather jackets. Slipping it on I go in my room to grab socks from my dresser passing Jessica looking at herself in the mirror.
You look great Jess, and you did your make up so good.

I mean your beautiful anyway but your always hiding your figure and girl that dress is hugging in all the right places.
Laughing I thank her and continue to put on my black socks I walk back into the closet grabbing my doc Martin boots and slide them on my feet. My hair is half way drive now and I walk in to see Hannah curling her hair in the bathroom I notice she has on a strappy dress thinner then mine hers is grey and she's wearing white vans.
Hey Han I'm finna blow dry my hair ,I do if I use your curling iron after?
No as long as I can convince you to let my put some lashes on you.
Okay sure why not stepping out right? I say this to myself but I just nod at her.
It was going on 10:30pm not rushing through we can go later than when it starts. Finish blow drying my hair I pick the curling wand adding some waves parting my hair onto the side. Doing my eyebrows Jessica comes and does my eyelashes.
It's 11:20pm and I sprits on my Marc Jacobs and we all head to my Jeep. Loving the feeling I get hopping inside since the wheels are big we all have to hop up to get but I'm used to it so I slide right in. Pulling out of the driveway Jessica tells me where to go and I notice it's in the richer part of the town we stay in. I continue driving until I see the house and cars going all the way down the block. I find a legal parking spaces further down the block at there Community park. We all get out and start to walk together holding each other close since it's kinda chilly outside. Jessica starts to talk about how excited she is to see Griffin her boyfriend of two years now. He was the quarterback for our high school. That's partly the other reason I was surprised the showed up at my house so early. Jessica and Griffin we attached at the hip and I couldn't blame her he was gorgeous.
As we walk into the house we get many looks from propel which was new for me people don't usually notice me but I keep my head held high and continue to walk with Jess and Hannah to the kitchen right behind them. We walk into the kitchen to see most of the the football players standing around like we just interrupted a meeting they were having. I continue to the drinks in the corner as Jess goes over to griffin and Hannah walks to hug the guys beside him. I grab three bears and walk over to them giving them one Griffin looks at me with shock.
"Bella?"

Oh shit I didn't even recognize you hi how was your summer. He gives me a side hug and slide back to Jess.
It was great you know me I was gone all summer I'm sure Jess told you. It was an adventure.
Oh well that's good and I like the new look. A guy standing behind him whispers something in his ear and he looks to me. The guy is also staring directly at me. He's sexy asf tall he's wearing a hat but his hair looks like it's curly. He's wearing a white shirt and joggers and Jordan's on his feet and a black leather jacket . Good lord he was gorgeous. But I have a gut feeling he's arrogant just by the way he's giving me a panty dropping smile. Looking away he continues to stare at me when Griffin and Jess walk to the other room. He steps in to their spot and I turn looking at him with a bored expression sipping my bear. He narrows his eyes.

He continues to look at me " you new here to Tennessee High?"
Nope I've been going here since freshman year.
He arches an eye brow and looks me up and down.
There is no way I would have seen you before.
Well it's true and I usually don't come to these parties and I don't attend school functions. So that could probably be why. I say sipping my bear again.
He watches the bottle as I put it to my lips and the down to my breast.
Well Bella.... he's cut off by a blonde in a skin tight cropped tank, Jean shorts that show ass cheeks and nude heels. Hmm not bad I think in my head but I'm quickly distracted she grabs his arm and whispers something in his ear. His eyes widen and he looks to me and looks like he's about to say something but she starts kissing him and pulls him to the room Jess and Griffin just went to. I shrug cause there wasn't gonna be nothing happening with me and him if that is what he wanted maybe he found the right girl for it.
I go and jump up on a counter watching as she leads him up stairs. It's probably his girlfriend I wouldn't be surprised.

I've been sitting on the counter for a while talking to a guy named Tyler he played basketball. He was lean and skinny but he was cute he wore blue skinny jeans white air forces and a jacket from school with the Viking logo on it. He's cute but I think that I would only see him as a friend. We ended up walking to the back yard together and sitting out on the patio.
So you said you don't like basketball why is that?
Well it's complicated to understand but don't feel offender I only was football because my dad makes me.
He laughs and nods looking at me licking his lips.
I'm sitting in the other side of the table but I can already feel the heat his gaze is sending me.
Getting chills I excuse myself and walk back inside this time going into the room Jess and Griffin are in. Spotting them on the couch I spot knight sitting on the arm beside them talking to them about something. He looks up at me and smile and I grin passing him by going towards the bathroom. Using the restroom and and looking myself over I decided I wanted to dance a little then it would be time to go it's going on 1 in the morning. I glide to the dance floor which is I think the living room which lucky for me Tyler is there leaning against a wall. I walk past him and start to sway my hips to the music playing . I feel him come up behind me. We dance for a couple of songs I as this song ends I turn and spot knight standing at the wall Tyler was on watching me and Tyler with hooded eyes. He looked pissed he watches as the song ends and comes to tap Tyler on the shoulder he whispers something to him and Tyler looks to me and back to knight and he smiles and tells me he'll see me at school. I look at him puzzled but he turns and stalks off I look to knight and he's staring at me.
Would you like to dance with me he says coming close to me I shake my head and tell him I was just about to leave. He brings attention I tried to avoid attention when I could. He looks sad when I say this .
"I have to say my ego is a little bruised you are gorgeous and your the one girl in here I can't even get to talk to me." I shrug my shoulders and start to walk off. He grabs me by the waist pulling my back to his chest and whispers in my ear anyone ever tell you that you have a great ass? I laugh and unloop his arm from a around me, turning around. I see how you get all the girls but I'm unattainable look at how much attention you bring........... I'm sorry but I don't want that on me. He looks at me and smiles. I turn back around heading to the kitchen to grab Hannah so we can leave. It three in the morning on a Saturday and schools starts Monday we need to be home.
