Okay so here's the second chapter or wtvr. (i cant make up good names for the chapters so) anyways the backstory will probably go on for a few more chapters idk yet. I hope you enjoy :)

I got my quirk a little earlier than most kids do, I was three, almost four.

I was throwing a tantrum because mom and dad had to go on a business trip and I didn't want them to go because I was scared they would forget about me.

Then suddenly the building started shaking and my parents quickly realized, it wasn't an earthquake, it was me, my quirk.

I remember getting more scared because I didn't know why everything was shaking.

My parents tried calming me down and eventually, it worked and the shaking stopped, they canceled their business trip and took me to the lab.

They were trying to figure out what my quirk was and why it shook the entire building.

Test trials after test trials, nothing.

Until one day in the lab, I couldn't reach my favorite book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and it moved.

It knocked right off the shelf and I was taken aback.

~

I was a very smart kid. Like learning how to read at three years old smart.

I mean what would you expect from a child of two of Japan's best scientists.

I loved to learn about anything and everything. I loved learning about numbers, shapes, colors, people, places, animals, the world.

I read a lot of books, fictional and non-fictional. Mom and dad would sometimes show me what they were doing and explain how things worked.

They always talked to me like I was a person and not a child. I loved it.

~

I quickly realized why that book fell and tried moving a toy from my toy box with my mind, I knocked over the whole toy box.

My eyes widened and I was so excited I ran to my parents and told them.

They were very surprised since telekinesis didn't have much correlation to the shaking building, they were thinking more of some type of vibrational quirk.

They ran more tests and I wasn't allowed to see Keigo much out of worry I would hurt him accidentally.

This made me sad. I didn't understand why I couldn't see him.

I would never hurt him.

Later my parents found a quirk specialist in Musutafu that would be able to help me learn to control my quirk.

Which coincidentally my parents wanted to make another lab near the area anyway. So we moved.

I was five years old. We moved into a suburban area, a medium two-story white house with a black roof and small garden awaited us.

I remember us pulling up to the gate of the house, thinking it was very overgrown, plants, vines, and flowers all over the fence and front garden. It looked like a jungle.

The house next door looked crazy, nothing I've ever seen before.

It looked cool, a lot more elegant, and cleaned up than ours.

The roof was rounded and green, with lots of cool shapes and windows. I thought it was a magnificent sight.

Getting out of the vehicle and going onto the sidewalk I noticed a pretty lady with poofy blonde hair and kind eyes holding the hand of a little boy.

She was beautiful.

The boy looked... angry... he was wearing a bag on his back. He looked almost like an exact image of the woman just smaller and angrier.

He looked at me, his red piercing eyes looked at me in wonder. He didn't look so mad for a second. He looked like he needed a friend.

It reminded me of the way Touya looked when Keigo wasn't around, but less sad.

They turned the corner and walked up the path to their home.

~

After seeing that boy, it hit me.

I've never seen someone my age before.

I mean yeah, I'd seen Keigo and Touya but they were both older than me.

And I'd seen children on tv and read about them in books, seen pictures, but this, this was a whole different experience.

The first time I met with the quirk specialist Dr. Tsubasa, he was very odd.

He would crack jokes and laugh at them even if no one else was. I was shy so even if I found them funny, I couldn't find it in me to laugh.

He was kind though. Told me I was okay and I was safe.

He called in pro hero, Eraser Head, so if my quirk got out of hand he could just well, erase my quirk temporarily.

~

I'd heard about Eraser Head from Keigo, and I'd seen him in videos and pictures online. He had the power to erase quirks just by looking at people.

I was nervous but excited to meet him. I thought he was cool.

~

When I first saw Eraser Head I thought his eyes looked tired but kind.

Mostly tired.

He introduced himself to me as Shota Aizawa, he told me I could call him Shota.

He didn't talk to me like the doctor did, like a child, he talked to me as if I was a person. It made me feel like I could trust him.

I smiled at him and told him my name then held my hand out to shake his. We shook hands.

I liked Shota.
