"Oh my Merlin Malfoy, no wonder you have no real friends!" I scolded, "You can't do ANYTHING right!"

"Um thank you very much but I think it was you messing the potion up!" He said back, "you put random herbs in that you thought would speed up the process, and now it's a dark green instead of it's usual periwinkle." He rolled his eyes.

A sudden sizzle came from the bowl the potion was in (try and make a potion in a bowl by the way, it's way more difficult than it looks, but we broke our glass so this is what professor Snape gave us) And the potion exploded just like that, in a seconds time.

Everyone in the classroom was looking at us, my cheeks started burning and blushing a bright red color, while Draco just Snarled at everyone. "Boys... boys... boys." Professor Snape Said slowly, and started walking towards us.  He pointed his wand and loudly hit the bowl. "Who did this?"

Me and Draco started talking at the same time, so it all just sounded like a different language.

"ENOUGH!" Snape cut us off. "If neither one of you wants to own up for your actions, you will both have detention after class, cleaning this mess up. Not to mention, I have no more tables for you boys to sit at, so you will have to work in this mess the rest of class." And he walks away.

"Thanks Potter, you messed up a simple dreamless sleep potion." Draco murmurs, quiet enough so only I can hear.

"Me?!" I whisper back. "You were the one shaking the bowl and spilling splashes all among the table."

"Class dismissed." Snape said.  "Remember, you boys stay."

Potions was our last class in the eighth year, and what a surprise. Me and this Slytherin aren't only in the same class, but partners. I swear, Snape has been trying to make me suffer since the first year.

I don't REALLY hate Draco though, truth being told, I've had a massive crush on him since forth year, of course I couldn't tell anyone that I got hard at the thought of my arch enemy though.

"Dr- I mean, Malfoy. Why are you staring at me?"

I could almost see a very faint shade of pink spreading on his cheeks. "Oh um, Sorry Potter, I stare off sometimes on accident."

"Oh, it's okay, no need to apologize."

I go over to the front of the class and grab two wet rags that the strict potions teacher left in the front of the large classroom for us, and I throw one to Draco.

After I had been scrubbing at the walls for five minutes (nobody told me how hard this potion would be to get off of things) I broke the awkward silence, "you know Malfoy, if we are gonna be partners for the rest of the year, we may as well enjoy it and attempt to be friends. Who still holds a grudge from year one anyways?"

"Exactly what I was thinking. First step, stop calling each other by our stupid last names."

"Um, okay Mal... Draco I mean." I blushed really hard, and hoped he didn't  notice.

"FINALLY! We're done woohoo!" My blond new friend exclaimed loudly.

"SHH Draco, it's so late the entire school is asleep by now!"

"Shoot, that much time passed?"

"Yeah, Snape gave us a pass to be out as late as we needed though."

"Oh. Good" Draco said, as he placed himself on the table. "You know, I don't really feel like going to my dormitory just yet. Wanna stay here and get to know each other?" He asked, "and I mean in a good way, not like how I used to be to you."
