Janis groans at the ringing of her doorbell. She rolls over to check her phone, seeing it is only nine in the morning. She groans and gets out of bed, checking the door. She slept with her clothes on last night, too tired to get out of them. She opens the door to see Cady, her beautiful girlfriend, and she smiles. Cady hugs Janis, and walks into the house, noticing that Janis looks like she was hit by a bus.

"Babe, did you sleep last night?" Janis looks at Cady like she is a monster, extremely confused about what the hell she is talking about. Cady knows the answer to this, and Janis chuckles a bit, knowing that they both know she did not sleep.

"What do you mean did I sleep? I was working on my painting for art class that is due tomorrow. I fell asleep like, an hour ago." Cady rolled her eyes at that. Janis doesn't always realize the importance of sleep, and Cady was going to have to teach her.

"Babe, you need your sleep. Come here, we are going to have a lazy day." Cady sits down on the couch, patting the spot next to her. Janis follows, sitting down and resting her head on Cady's shoulder. Cady snuggles into her and grabs the blanket Janis keeps at the end of their couch. She puts it over them, and Janis smiles up at Cady.

"Thank you, Cads. I love you." Cady smiles down at Janis and kisses her forehead, wrapping her arm around her.

"Of course Jan. I love you too." Janis closes her eyes as Cady hums to her, lulling her to sleep.

~Time skips because what would this be without me including time skips~

Janis slowly opens her eyes, realizing that her girlfriend is still right next to her.

"Good afternoon sleepy head." Janis yawns, looking at Cady.

"How long did I sleep?" Cady giggles at this, running her fingers through Janis's hair.

"Seven hours. You needed it." Janis smiles at Cady, more awake now.

"I'm hungry." Cady laughs at this. Of course, Janis would wake up to the thought of food.

"How about we order door dash. What do you want?" Janis thinks for a moment and perks up.

"We should get Chinese food. I am really craving orange chicken right now." Cady laughs, Janis loves her Chinese food. She pulls out her phone and opens up the door dash app. She orders Janis's orange chicken and her sesame chicken along with pork fried rice, crab rangoon, with the free white rice and eggrolls. Janis cuddles more into her girlfriend who is finishing the order details. Cady finishes and looks over to see Janis staring up at her, her eyes full of love and admiration. She smiles and kisses the tip of Janis's nose.

"Hey, you missed!" Cady laughs and gives her a soft peck on the lips.

"That's better." They both laugh, and they go on to talk about what happened yesterday, waiting patiently for their door dash to get there.

Soon enough, the doorbell rings and Cady gets up and grabs their order. Janis sits up and gets a movie for them to watch. Cady still is not used to all of these movies, being from Africa, and she finds a good Disney movie for them to watch. Well, Cady will most likely cry, but Janis knows that it will make her smile. She puts it in as Cady goes into Janis's kitchen to grab plates, forks, and two cans of mountain dew. (Dead Girl walking anyone?)

"What are we watching?"

"It's a Disney movie called The Lion King." Cady perks up and smiles so wide. She loves animals so much, especially the lions because she lived with them most of her life. The girls settle in with their Chinese and cuddle on the couch, watching the movie.

And yes, Cady did cry. The. Whole. Damn. Time.

Hi! Here is entry one in 12 days of Cadnis! These one-shots will be published every other day, all the way up to Christmas! These are going to be written in one-shot form, so they may be sporadic and out of order! They are shorter because I have to write 12 of these and I am lazy- haha. This is the entry meant for December 1st, so the one actually meant for today (December 3rd) will be out tomorrow! So technically, you get work from me three days in a row! I hope you enjoyed it because I certainly did, mainly because I was listening to Glee Christmas music in the background.
