Broken angel chapter one

It was a cold day in Gangnam Korea the sky was black the clouds were grey and the sun barley shined. Ahihiko was sitting on the ledge of a coffee shop when his red gem glowed on his forehead. The red gem allows him to know when someone has passed away. All he had to do was touch his red gem to teleport to the lost soul. He lightly touched his gem and teleported to a hospital with a grey-haired old frail lady laying on a hospital bed. She tried to extend here freckled pale arm to the ceiling and let out a small painful grunt as a result.

Akihiko let out a sigh and took out his white notebook. It can consume any soul when opened. A white notebook has the story of every human on the planet written down when opened the dying soul would put an end to that story.

Akihiko opened his white book to the page with the face of the frail old lady lying on the bed.''Lets put you out of your misery shall we. ''He walked towards the old lady and touched her heart. Next thing he knew she took her final breath. Her soul bowed to Akihiko as a thank you then entered her assigned page on the White book. Leaving her last words of her story as ''THE END''.

''Why does dying hurt so much to humans? ''Akihiko closed his notebook and walked out of the hospital room. Akihiko was the angel of life and death. He had pale white hair and dark brown eyes. His skin was a creamy peach. He had hooked eyelids and soft light red heart-shaped lips. He had a soft-looking face. He always had to wear a white suit with two slits in the back for he can let his black wings be free for he can fly. He had black polished leather shoes.

Akihiko didn't have a last name nor age for angels didn't have a necessity for it. Akihiko walked around the hospital hallways in a slow pace knowing nobody could see him they would pass through him as if he was a ghost. Akihiko heard a boy yell from the hospital lobby.

''She can't be dead. The doctors said she was fine yesterday! You could have saved my grandma. ''The boy broke down into an uncontrollable sob.

''My name is Son Whoochul grandson of Son Regen. Please check your system again maybe you got the wrong person. ''The boy looked at the secretary with red eyes.

''Im sorry, Whoochul we got the right person. I'm sorry for your lost.'' The secretary reached to touch Whoochul's hand. He backed away and ran to the hospital room where his dead grandma lay limp and lifeless. Akihiko couldn't help with his curiosity and followed Whoochul. Whoochul fell on his knees beside the hospital bed and kept on crying till he got dry.

Akihiko tilted his head and touched Whoochul's shoulder. Even though Whoochul didn't know he was there he tried to comfort him with his spirit. ''Rest your soul now Human don't spend your time crying she's at peace now,'' Akihiko spoke with a soft tone.

Whoochul stopped crying and stood up he took a final bow to his grandma and kissed her forehead. ''Rest well, grandma.'' Whoochul left the room with his head hung low.

Akihiko ended up following Whoochul out of the hospital and for the rest of the afternoon.  Four hours later Akihiko followed behind Whoochul who was walking around a park. Whoochul sat down on a bench and so did Akihiko. Whoochul Stood up and looked at the street with flashing light of cars passing by. He ran into the traffic hoping a car would hit him in an attempt of suicide.'' I have nothing left you took everything I had !'' He yelled at the sky. ''Now come take me too.''Whoochul now stood in the middle of the street with his arms open. A car came flashing towards Whoochul. Akihiko used his power to save a human life by stopping time. He carried Whoochul out of the cars way.

His gem started to crack and let out red bright light. Akihiko's wings made a loud snap and time resumed. Whoochul looked around to find himself still alive.'' Aish''he scratched his head aggressively.

Akihiko felt his gem fall out of his forehead he held it a message glowed mid-air.''You broke a rule of being an angel and saved a human life. You have interrupted an intended death and broke the balance. For this, you will be punished and be turned into a human where you will melt with time.'' His eyes widened a he felt a pain on his chest. That was his first feeling in his life but it was painful.

A glowing hole shined through his chest. He yelled in pain his wings snapped off. His hair turned from the pure white to a dark black.

He fell on his head and felt his head bang. With that feeling of pain, he knew he was human. His wrist glowed red and left a mark like a tattoo. It read ''broken angel.''

When he started to feel his body slowly turn visible the sky let out a loud bell sound. Then next thing Akihiko knew he passed out.
