In complete honestly, Emily didn't know she had plans with Aaron today. She originally was going to meet up with Vinnie to talk about their friendship, but Aaron messaged her first to see if they could go to the city and hang out, and then come back afterward to mess around. She remembered how fulfilled she got by just talking to Aaron on facetime, and she was trying to weigh her options. She wants to do what's best for her, and not for other people, besides it was obvious Vinnie was using her for his use.
Even after all this, with Aaron, she still felt lost. It didn't feel right to not be with Vinnie once a day like he's her alcohol. Not even that, her drug. Her heroin. No, she didn't have feelings for Vinnie. She couldn't. Even if she did, she couldn't choose between Aaron and Vinnie. It couldn't be one or the other.
