He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself.

He stood up.

"What did you say? "
I too stood up.

"I like you Arya. Since our first year. "
He mumbled, a red hue appeared on his face.

It was like a dream.
My crush confessing that he likes me.

A very beautiful dream that I want it to be a real one.

He mumbled weakly.

And at that moment, that fucking moment I realized, all of this was true. I uttered the first words that came in my mind.

"I'm sorry. "

His face looked sullen.

"No.... Not for that. For the utter shit I spewed just now. I'm sorry for cursing. When I am nervous, I tend to speak utter nonsense. And you are making me so nervous right now. I can't think properly. Oh! And I like you too. But why would you like me at the first place. You are so–"

I paused my monologue as he walked towards me and pecked my forehead.

I looked here and there, to avoid his gaze and the blush covering my face.

"So? "

"I.... I should leave. It's getting late. Bye. "

I stopped.

"Will you go out with me tomorrow ? "
Hope glimmered in his eyes.

"Yes. "
With that said, I ran as fast as I can.

I can't participate in a normal conversation and that one was getting so awkward.

Or maybe it's just me.

A huge smile graced my face.

I just got a date with my crush.

"Why did you ask help from me when we first talked? "

Reyansh and I were at his home, watching a movie, that I had no interest in.

I was lying on his lap as his fingers moved in circles in my hair.

"I needed something to start a conversation. I really needed help though, in my assignments. It was also if I lost my confidence in between, atleast I won't make a fool out of myself. "
He mumbled whilst watching that movie.

What's so interesting in that damn movie!!!!!

"I'm proud that you confessed. If there was me, I would still back off at the last moment. Like I've been doing for the past one year. "
I patted his chest.

"Yeah, you were too slow, so I decided to be the rabbit here. "

"Sure sure. "
I made sure my voice held sarcasm.

"What sure sure. If it wasn't for me, you'd be still stealing glances at me. "
He smirked at me.

"Don't look so shocked. Your gaze was quite obvious. "
He continued seeing my shocked face.

I thought I was subtle.

I guess... I wasn't.

"Don't be embarrassed. Those stares were my green signals...that you are interested in me. "
He pecked my cheeks.

"I'm glad I somewhat contributed for the initiation of our relationship. "

Stretching up like a cat, I moved and layed completely on him.
My perfect human pillow.

Gosh, I am so tired...

"Sleep sweetheart. "

And this was followed by a sweet kiss on my forehead and me drifting off to sleep.
