Opening the door, I was surprised to see a bouquet of flowers instead of his face.

Beautiful.
I took the flowers and left the door open for him to come in.
"Can I have some water? "
I set the flowers on the table and filled a glass a of water for him.
He sat on the stool, but not before removing his blazer and showing the outline of his delicious body through his fitted shirt.
No. No. No. No. Now's not the time.
"We should go out tonight. " He spoke as he stood beside me.
But I wasn't in the mood to carry myself anywhere. Walking around is a task. Plus my clothes choice was limited.... Or rather non-existant.
"You sure want to walk around with a balloon?" I couldn't hold my snide remark.
Though I immediately regretted.
A frown marred his already tired face.
"I'm so sorry Arya. I thought you were overworking and tiring yourself. You looked like you needed a break. And I swear I didn't meant it as a insult. I'm really sorry. Look, I even got you this. Please forgi—"
I didn't let him complete as I glued our lips together.

He looked so adorable while apologising that I couldn't control my raging hormones.
And I over reacted maybe. He was just trying to cheer me up.
He readily took me in his arms, as if he was expecting this.
Our lips fused together as his hands caressed my swollen belly.
I couldn't feel him though. The gap between us was too much.
"So..... So does that mean I'm forgiven? " He breathed out.
I simply nodded my head, not having enough breath to say anything.
And the smile that came on his face.....it was absolutely worth it.
