"Should have threatened you from the beginning" i smirked crossing my arms over my chest, he just smirked and looked to his right, I followed his eye sight only to see that we were already next to the water "oh" I looked back at him and he just chuckled pulling me towards the water.

"The water is freezing cold!!" I whined as the water contacted my legs soon my lower part. I just started shivering but felt three pairs of arms wrapping around me, I turned around to be met by a three grinning charli, nessa and abby.

"Well hello there" i smiled at them.

"Thought you didn't want to swim" charli asked teasingly although i guarantee the three of them so everything from their spot, i think they all understood what I is was thinking because they started laughing.

"I hate you" I groaned and started splashing them with water, we all ended up getting into a water fight.

We played for the whole evening, playing chicken fight splashing each other and them making TikToks , I would always look at mads or try talking to her but she would completely ignore me, abby reassured me that she was just being moody and that i have nothing to do with it so I dropped it. It was time for us to head back home so we started dressing up, as usual I wore my baggy shirt and sweats that i had in my car.

"So.... we will get going!" I motioned at me and abby, we all said our goodbyes and me and abby started walking towards my car, before I could touch the car door handle someone grabbed my arm, I turned around and it was Jaden.

"Hey is everything okay?" I asked frowning.

"Yeah...i just wanted to ask you if you're free tomorrow" he asked rubbing the back of his neck, is he nervous?

"Yeah i guess, why?"

"Cool then i will pick you up at 3" he grinned and walked away fast.

"Heyy! Can i have at least any explanation?" I yelled at his back but he just kept walking.

"Nope" he yelled back and i just shock my head and got in the car. As i was starting the engine I glared at the smirking abby next to me, i just felt her gaze on me I didn't even need to look at her.

"I bet he's the one who kissed you!" She just said that as if she was talking about the weather.

"What are you talking about?" I asked while starting to drive away.

"You know exactly what im talking about" she stated.

"Well first, why would he do that?! He doesn't feel anything towards me whatsoever that day he was being distant why would he even want to kiss me? He liked mads , he still does" i just started rambling none stop. We stayed silent for a minute before she broke the silence.

"You like him" she whispered amusement is obvious in her tone.

"Pffff no I don't" i tried although im a terrible liar.

"Mills you know too damn well that you're a bad liar so just admit it!" She chuckled.

"Fine i do" i just gave in because i know that im just gonna lose this conversation.

"Omggggg!!! My best friend is in LOVE!!" I squealed happily! Jumping up and down in the car.

"Bro watch it im driving!!" I yelled.

"Oh yeah sorry! But my best friend is in LOVE , LOVE, LOVE!!" She started singing it.

"Jeez from where did you get the LOVE statement?! i just found out i liked him like what from two days?" I said hopefully she would just drop the love thingy.

"Can't wait to be an aunt! That would be so cool!!" She squealed even more totally ignoring what i said.

"Jesus Christ abby! How did we end up getting married and having a fucking child! I just admitted that i like him not that we are getting married" I groaned my eyes focused on the road.

"Because you love him and he loves you and you're gonna have a happy ever after" she squealed like a little girl that just bought a barbie doll.

"I think i made myself clear when i said I don't love him! Plus he DOESN'T love me heck he doesn't even like me"

"You're so unobservant, aren't you?" She asked in a serious tone now.

"What does that have to do with what we're talking about?" I asked. I mean im not unobservant indeed im really observant.

"How can you be so blind emily! He really likes you have you seen the way he looks at you? The way he got mad as soon as you assumed that it was josh who kissed you? Who took you to his room when you were drunk for the first time and took care of you?!" And she just continued on and on.

She's not wrong but I can't pull my hopes up only to get rejected later and look like a fool.

"But have you seen mads? Hell she's gorgeous im nothing compared to what he has! Why would he choose me?! Plus he just got out of a relationship and i just got played! It won't work never in a million years" i just have a urge to cry right now, stating all these thoughts out loud makes them feel more real.

"Are you serious right now?! Have you seen yourself Emily!! I can't believe you! This is not the mills that i know the confident girl the irresistible! These feelings must make you strong not make you doubt yourself!" She said her face full of disappointment.

"Let's just drop it" i whispered as we arrived. When we got out she just stormed inside and didn't even wait for me to get the bag we had from the car. I got it and went inside just putting it by the door entry next to the stairs. I walked into the kitchen but she wasn't there i guess she just went upstairs. I had a glass of water and went into my room to take a shower.

After I finished i wore my comfy sweats and the sway LA hoodie. I just decided to finish my schoolwork as Jaden was taking me somewhere tomorrow. As I settled down with my books and laptop my phone buzzed I picked it up and it was a text message from Jaden.

Tell abby that you're gonna stay the night as well.

Okay im just speechless, my mind stopped functioning for a while but i soon came back to reality.

And with that i just closed my phone and started doing my assignments.

Im really sorry for updating after what two weeks? I've been really busy lately but here you go and i will try the best I could to post more chapters this week, hopefully *fingers crossed*
