On a cold, winter, Paris night. Marinette and Tikki were getting ready for bed. Marinette brushing her wet hair and Tikki eating cookies by the window. As Marinette hopped into bed pulling her phone out, Tikki kissed Marinette's forehead goodnight and placed herself on Marinette's bed. Marinette then started to yawn, slowly turn around. Falling asleep.
Tikki then woke up to a familiar "PSST!" She opened her eyes and there was Plagg. Hovering over her from outside Marinette's upper window. Tikki slowly started to fly over Marientte and out into the night. She was very suprised. "What are you doing here Plagg! It's the middle of the night!" Tikki didn't look angry, just confused. "I'm sorry to wake you Sugarcube. But you know I would only come over for emergencies. And to see you of course." Plagg winked. "So? Which one is it? An emergency or..?" Tikki then sat down next to Plagg. "You know seeing you is an emergency." Tikki rolled her eyes, giggling. "That's very sweet of you Plagg, but is there something you need? You know I'm here if you need anything." Plagg nodded. "Yes actually. Remember when Ladybug and Cat Noir fought against the Impersonator?" Tikki looked up at the dark sky. Then her face lit up. "Oh yeah! It's that super villain that trades bodies with whoever she touches!" Then her face went confused. "Didn't they defeat her?" Plagg laughed, poking Tikki's cheek. "Of course they did Sugarcube. But there was a small mishap."
Plagg continued. "If you remember, Impersonator traded places with Cat Noir. And the Impersonator cataclysmed Cat Noir' ring. Which is very dumb because his goal was to give the Miraculous to Hawk Moth. Without breaking them. As always they defeated her. And Ladybug "fixed" everything. At first, me and Cat Noir thought the ring was fixed. But it wasn't." Tikki then looked down at Marinette and then back at Plagg. "Does the ring not work anymore?" Plagg sighed. "Well... the ring partially works. If it didn't work at all I wouldn't be here. The only problem is that Cat Nori can't transform." Plagg then looked at Tikki. He could tell that Tikki was get ting really worried. But no words came out of Tikki's mouth. Usually, Tikki would have yelled at Plagg by now.
Plagg then got closer to Tikki. Trying to confort her. Plagg started to hug Tikki, trying to make her feel better. "It's gonna be okay Sugarcube, don't worry. I know Ladybug and Cat Noir will find a way." He smiled. Tikki then giggled. She's almost never seen him smile. Then both their heads turned to watch the sun rise. Making the sky a beautiful, warm, orange.

Marinette's alarm when off and she was startled by the noice (like every morning). She looked around for Tikki. She started to panic. "TIKKI?! DID I SQUISH YOU ON ACCIDENT?! OH MY GOSH IM SO SORRY!" Marinette was literally gonna start to cry. Tikki then interrupted. "Marinette! I'm okay! I just went outside to see the sun rise. It was very pretty!" Marinette then rubbed her eyes. "Oh Tikki! I'm sorry. I thought I squished you on accident! That would have been a nightmare!" Tikki giggled. "You should probably start getting ready for school." Marinette nodded and she started getting ready. Tikki then went to the upper window and signaled Plagg to go. Plagg waved and winked at her and started to go on his way home. On his way home he remembered Tikki's cute giggle. Plagg sighed. "Why does Tikki have to be so cute."
Plagg knew that Adrien's alarm would go off soon. So he quickly kicked the fake Plagg sock off Adrien's bed and sat right where the sock was. A few seconds later, Adrien's alarm went off. Adrien sat up, petted Plagg. And started heading to the bathroom. Plagg then "woke up" and looked around for his cheese (which he missed very dearly). Plagg then followed Adrien to the bathroom and watched Adrien wash his hands. Plagg then looked at Adrien's right hand. Plagg started to worry. And his thoughts started to become pessimistic, as he looked at the broken ring on Cat Noir's finger.
