Things that we value are the first thing that we notice when they disappear. We value them to the point where they would always have a place in our mind no matter what happens.
Memories are valuable but what if the said thing will be the cause of your pain in the future?
It continues to torture your very mental state, repeating itself and it'll never go away as it will always have a place in your mind,
as it is valuable
Is it a curse to treasure it even though it has been causing you pain?
What would it take for one to finally gain the courage to look behind what is being shown, to be able to find the true meaning of the memory?
Only when you're able to find people who would help you would you be able to find out the very thing that you kept sealed within you.
To live a life where you know you wouldn't be able to truly live it to its fullest...
that's our family's curse.
it's a punishment, one that was taken on by the family of the one who was supposed to be punished
'atonement'
'apologies'
'sacrifice'
'regrets'
those were the emotions that they felt when they found out that one of them had felt suffocated to the point in which they decided to turn into the very thing that they themselves hunted.
with that in mind, they pleaded to the gods.
In exchange for guarding the one who has defected from them, they will be taking the brunt of their anger, their rage, their bitterness towards to what they thought has betrayed them
the gods laughed, thinking that it'll be that easy....
and so they were cursed,
just for being the sole reason that the King of Curses was born
a curse that will last for eternity as long as the blood of the King of Curses runs through their veins
