It's 2 am as Jungkook tosses and turns on his California king size bed. It seems like it's gonna be one of those nights again Jungkook thinks.
He sighs and sits up on his bed, rubbing his eyes as he then looks around his big master bedroom. He then looks out his big windows looking out into the city.
He lived in a nice penthouse smack in the middle of the city, where it was always lively and busy, but for some reason this view of the city and the moon sometimes makes Jungkook feel melancholy.
This feeling of something missing and late night thoughts seem to be keeping him awake more and more each week for some reason. He's had trouble sleeping before but he feels like it's gotten worse. He's a successful, pure blood alpha, he shouldn't be feeling like this, he thinks.

He sits up on his bed contemplating something and then gets out of bed and reaches for something under the bed.
It's a box, a hand painted box with a moon and stars. He opens the latch and contemplates again on whether to actually open the box and lift that lid open.
He hadn't opened it in awhile but maybe opening it again tonight might give him some peace and hopefully lead him to some sleep, but then he thinks again and knows how painful it is to open this box too.
Jungkook calls it his bittersweet box.
He traces the little moon and stars painted on the top of it with his fingertips as he stares at the box. He groans and locks it back up and decides to not open it. He shoves it back under the bed.
He'll just have to make due with whatever little sleep he gets tonight.

The next day, Jungkook sits at his desk working swiftly.
"Woah! Watch it there!" Namjoon says as he saves Jungkook's coffee from tipping over and falling over and spilling over all the files that currently lay on Jungkook's desk.
"Thanks." Jungkook quickly says as he quickly flips through the pile of files.
They're currently in Jungkook's office. Jungkook sits at his desk rummaging through files, looking for a specific one as he rubs his eyes every so often.
"No sleep again?" Namjoon questions as he watches Jungkook take a quick sip of his coffee before looking through the files again.
Jungkook just grunts in response.
Namjoon shakes his head as he then helps Jungkook look for the file on his desk.
"Damn it. How much time do we have before the meeting?" Jungkook then suddenly asks.
Namjoon looks down at his watch. "Ehh... about 5 minutes."
Jungkook deeply sighs as he looks through the files even quicker. Namjoon can see how frustrated and tense he looks.
"This would've been so much quicker if these files were alphabetized." Namjoon sighs.
"Yeah well I didn't have time to do that ok? So just help me look for it." Jungkook replies.
"I keep telling you to get a secretary. You've got the budget for it and it would make your life so much easier. This is something a secretary could've done and had the file prepared for you." Namjoon says.
Jungkook just grunts again in response.
"Why haven't you hired one anyways?" Namjoon then asks.
"I don't have the time." Jungkook just replies.
"Well if you had a secretary you'd have more time." Namjoon shrugs.
"Well then you get me one then." Jungkook scoffs.
"Fine I will." Namjoon says. "I'll post it on the job hiring site as soon as were done with this meeting."
"Fine, sure, whatever. Just hire one." Jungkook waves his hand as he continues to search for that damn file.
Namjoon shakes his head and sighs.
"Aha! here it is!" Jungkook says lifting the file up in the air triumphantly. "Now come on! We're gonna be late!" Jungkook says as he takes the pile of files and throws them into a cabinet. The cabinet barely closing.
He takes the file and starts practically running out of his office.
Namjoon looks at the cabinet full of files that can barely close and all the leftover papers on Jungkook's desk. He rolls his eyes. "Yeah, you definitely need a secretary." He whispers under his breath as exits.

After the meeting, Jungkook and Namjoon meet back in his office.
The meeting didn't go that well. Jungkook wasn't as prepared as he should be and coupled with his lack of sleep made the investors uneasy and they decided against investing in the company.
Namjoon sits across and stares as Jungkook looks defeated. His hands placed on his forehead as he looks down at his desk.
Namjoon clears his throat.
"Don't say it." Jungkook just groans.
"Say what?" Namjoon asks.
"Say that this wouldn't have happened if I had a secretary. I know that's what you wanna say." Jungkook replies.
"Well I was going to but I mostly wanted to ask when was the last time you had a day off? You look exhausted man." Namjoon asks.
Come to think of it, these past weeks he's seen Jungkook here 6 times a week for 10 hours and then goes home to "sleep" and the one day he's supposed to have off, he's at a lunch meeting or at one of his dates his mother sets him up with. Namjoon knows Jungkook doesn't like these set up dates his mother makes him go to. Jungkook always complains but he only does it to keep his mother happy and off his back.
"Like for reals man, when was the last time you had a day off and didn't do work related stuff or go on a date with someone who was your type and you actually liked?" Namjoon asks as he plays with an iron man figurine on Jungkook's desk.
Jungkook was a fan of iron man and had a couple of iron man things around his massive CEO office.
"I don't know." Jungkook sighs.
"Well either way, I'm getting you a secretary and hopefully you'll have more time to have a real day off or so every now and then." Namjoon smiles.
