High school year

My first day at a new high school

My name is Irene it's my first day of being in a new high school. I'm in the 11th grade and it's my 3 new school after moving because of my dads business and him wanting to expand. I was never good at making friends since we moved so much. But I hope this time it will be different.

Dad: Irene! Hurry up your going to be late for your first day of your new school!!

Irene: dad it's nothing new how many times have I done this.

Dad: but this means a new school means new friends and maybe even a boyfriend

(He looks at her with stars in his eyes)

Irene: dad I don't need anyone. Not after mom-

(She gets cut off)

Dad: I know it's been hard since your mother...

(He went silent)

Irene: dad it will be fine. Just you and me against the world!

Dad: always have been always will be!

(They smile together)

Irene: ok dad I'm going to be late for school I will text you later.

Dad: alright be safe and remember don't talk to strangers!

Irene: then what's the point of going to school if they are all strangers!

(She gives him a smirk)

Dad: ha ha very funny. Now go! U only have a half hour to get there! And make sure you go to the principals office before hand!!

Irene: I will!!

(Irene walks out the front door. And starts walking towards her new school)

(Irene stands in front of her new school)

Irene's head: oh wow...this is bigger then I thought...never mind that! I need to find the principals office.

(Irene starts walking into the crowded school)

Irene: hey e-excuse me!-

???: watch where you going nerd!!

Irene: o-oh I'm so sorry...

???: better be!

(Irene looks down and then stands in front of a girl wearing gothic boots. As Irene looks up she sees more black and white)

???: hey you good????

Irene: yeah! I'm fine I just wanted to find the principals office..

???: oh I can help with that!

(The girl grabs Irene's hand and takes Irene to the principal office)

Principal: oh! Cat thank you from bring me the new student.

Cat: no problem dad- I MEAN Mr. Tanaka...

Mr. Tanaka: I can take it from here Cat thank you again.

Cat: no problem nice meeting you new kid!

Irene: my name is Irene and thank you Cat..

Cat: Irene? That's a cool name!

(Irene blushes from embarrassment)

Mr. Tanaka: Here Irene I can give u a tour of the school once all the kids get to their classes and then take you to your first class.

Irene: oh thank you so much

(The bell rings loud. All the kids rush to their classes. Irene and Mr. Tanaka walk out into the hallway and gives her a tour.)

(After an hour of walking around after showing her around they arrive to Irene's first class)

Mr. Tanaka: and this will be your home room. Anyone questions you have you can always ask you teacher.

Irene: oh..thank you a lot mr. Tanaka..

Mr. Tanaka: oh no dear it's no problem at all. Now come on meet your class mates.

(Mr. Tanaka opens the door and Irene starts to feel over whelmed as Irene starts her new day at a new school)
