Untitled Part 1

Brogan Winters was just about to walk home from school when she was pushed from behind, she heard the high pitched hyena giggle of her main tormentor, her ex best friend Mindy Jacobs " Move it, bitch your in my way" as Brogan fell to the floor, she then felt the slap across the back of her head, she looked up to see Mindy run into the arms of her twin brother, Mike, she saw him smirk at her then flipped her off, as she got up she saw her father's car pull in "great! just what i need, more hassle." she thought, she walked over to the sidewalk and watched him climb out of the car, " hey honey, how was school today" he asked " the same as usual, dad" , he smirked at her " listen honey, i need a favour, you couldnt loan your old man some cash, my pay check didnt go through" he asked her, " i have later in the week, see ya doll" he shouted as he took the cash and climbed in the car and drove away.

On the walk home she past the old Wilson house and saw removal men unload a truck, as she was about to cross the driveway and black mustang pulled in the windows were tinted, she stopped to let it pull in, the car roared up the drive and came to a stop, she carried on walking but looked behind her to see the driver get out, she saw him watch her, she quickly turned away , then she looked at her watch "shit! im going to be late for my shift" she thought as she started running home, she slowed to a walk and saw her brother's car and two other cars parked in the driveway "Great! Seth and Tyler are here, could this day get any worse" she grumbled, she opened the door to see them all sitting on the sofa playing need for speed most wanted on the xbox 360, she tried to sneak in when she heard her mother " Hey honey! come in the kitchen." shout to her, she hung her jacket up and trudge into the kitchen, she could feel 3 pairs of eyes watch her. Her mum was standing at the stove stirring what ever was boiling away in the pot, " do you have enough time for dinner?" her mum asked " sorry mum, i dont but could you put some in a bowl and ill get it when i come home?" she replied, Mike took the chance to come up and nudged her from bhehind " dont be so rude mum has made you dinner the least you can do is eat it" he told her " thats enough Mike, Brogan works hard, so stop annoying your sister" she told her. Mike gave his sister a look of disgust and walked off to join his mates.

Brogan quickly ran up the stairs to her room to find Mindy sitting on her bed " hey bitch, you owe me something and i intend to take it tonight" she growled at her, Brogan felt the punch to her gut as Mindy started punching and kicking her, she drew her manicured nails along Brogan's neck then dug them in " its time you disappeared and dont come back" Mindy spat in her face. She watched Mindy walk away, Brogan pushed herself to her knees and tried to hurry to get ready, 5 minutes she was ready in her uniform, she took out her emergency fund jar and took out 20 bucks, she grabbed her phone and called the cab office " hi could i get a taxi please, from 66 Jackson avenue, please?" " sure sweetie, is that you Brogan?" the operator asked " Yea aunt Sandra, its me" she replied, " ok honey" Mal should be on his way, go and wait outside and ill make sure he picks you up after your shfit" she quickly hung up and ran down the stairs, she could hear hear her mum laugh at something Mindy had said, she left the house and saw Mal pull up, he waved to her as she ran to the passenger door " Hey kiddo its been a while" He said with a smile, "yea school has been busy and mums car is in the garage" she told him " Ah you have you exams coming up in a few weeks, dont you ?, any ideas on what you wanna do after school?" He asked her " Not sure yet uncle Mal, but maybe get out of this town would be wishful thinking" she muttered, she felt him pat her hand " you still getting hassle at school? you know you can always come to your aunt and mine house" he told her " i know uncle Mal but i cant leave mum on her alone", the taxi pulled up to the cafe were Brogan worked, she had 5 mins to spare " thank you uncle Mal, your a life savoiur" she said as she got out, she went to hand him the fare but he told her to keep it, she smiled as he pulled away.

Brogan ran into the cafe as Agnus was behind the counter " ah dear, your here, you ok sweetie?" Agnus asked her face full of concern " Yea, yea im ok just running a bit late" she tried to laugh off. She quickly ran to the locker room and stuck her bag in her locker, she grabbed her apron and put it on, she went behind the counter and for the 2 hours they were rushed off thier feet, Mr. Mackie even came out to help, around half 9 the cafe was quieting down so Brogan took the chance to wipe the booths down, she was just finishing the last booth when the bell rang over the door, she looked up to see who had walked in, and saw it was the guy from earlier with two older people behind him, he smirked when he saw Brogan, Brogan stood up and went to welcome them "Hello and welcome to Mackies, would you like a table or a booth?" the lady said "we would like a booth please" " if you kindly follow me, ill give you, your menus, would you like some coffee, tea or soft drinks while you wait?" Brogan said with a smile " the older man said 2 coffees and a cup of tea please" as the group sat and spoke to each other, she came back and handed them a menu each, her sleeve rose up her arm and the young guy noticed the hand prints on her wrist, he cocked his eyebrow at her as she quickly shook her sleeve down, " ill give you a few moments to read over the menus" Brogan told them " ah excuse me miss " the older man said but what would you recommend?" he asked " well the steak and cheese buns are really good and the veg soup is nice as well, we also do a mean steak and chips that is really popular with familes" she explained, " we will have 3 steak and chips please" he told her, " coming right up, could i get you guys are refill?" the lady nodded as Brogan refilled their cups. 10 minutes later Manny rang the bell for her table, she quickly placed everything on the tray and walked over, she placed each plate in front of them starting with the woman, then the older man then the boy, as she was about to hand them their cutlery when the bell rang above the door and she saw her twin and his mates staunter in, she grimced and looked away not before she saw the boy look at her strangely, she gave him a small smile as she hand them all their cutlery, she walked over to her brother and his mates" Get me a strawberry milkshake and a buger" he brother muttered, the rest all wanted the same " mind your tips come to me tonight" Mike told her, she sadly nodded and walked away, after an hour they left, she walked to the booth and asked " would you like some pudding or your check?" she asked them kindly, the woman replied " just the check please, oh and could you ask your boss to come out please" " of of couse ill be right back with your check" Brogan said, as she went to the cash desk Mr.Mackie came out his office " oh Sir, the family sitting in booth 4 would like to talk to you" she told him, " ok sweetie, why dont you finish up and head home, youve done a great job tonight" he said smiling.
