|| First Day ||

"Uh...hi! What's your name new girl"?

"Um..i-it's C-calli".

"Oookaay, err-Calli, my girls and I wanna be your friend, can we"? Her eyes hoping.

"But I don't have any friends"?

"That's why I'm asking you silly". She said chuckling.

"Like...like a re-real friend"?

"Yeaaah, a real, uh, friend? Yeah sure".

My heart leap in joy. " O-okay".

"Cool. Meet us at the back of school after class".

Finally. "S-sure".

"I..uh, I didn't quite catch your names, yet"? I ask shyly.

"Oh you won't be needing that". She said, a smirk evident on her face. Her hands carrying a little bucket.

"Why? Wh-what is that"? I warily ask, taking a step back. Their eyes glint in mischief. "This? It's just...I want to give you a make over".

"A ma-make over? Then why a-are you holding a bucket instead of cosmetics? A-and why? Were b-barely twelve".

"B-because, C-calli". She mocked. "You're not dumb but, you're very naive".

"What do you me-". She quickly lift the bucket and splattered in my face of what's inside.

I can hear the sinister laugh of the three girls that proclaimed to be my friend. I can smell and taste the metal scent of the red crimson liquid.

"There, perfect"! She exclaimed while clapping her hands.

"Wha-what are you doing? I thought... I thought you're my-

"What? I'm your friend? Ha! No one wants to befriend a freak like you. I just apply some touché to complete your look". She smiled like a madman.

"You should be thankful, we put a lot of effort in getting some chicken blood, only for you sweetchicks". She said dramatically.

"I...I, uh, I'm... Gonna go now". Anxious, I tried to walk past them.

But she suddenly push me, my back touch the wall. Her hands gripped my neck tightly.

"Y-you sh-should be gr-grateful calli. You should be grateful that we waste our fucking time for your shitty face".

"Fuck you". Was all I said before a palm strikes my cheek.

I feel like the world stopped moving.

The opening of the door, the sudden splashed, and now the hands. It was like moving in slow motion as the memory flashes before me.

A sense of dé javu.

My eyes sting. Heart aches. I may not remember most of the things before the nine years, but the struggles I went through after the accident, after the comma was glued in my mind.
