Over six months passed since the reformation of Moonlight Garden had started. Since Sekyung's completion of the antidote, a whole new realm of possibilities paved the way for a brighter future to all flower maidens and nobles alike. Some noblewomen were complaining about being unable to consume the maidens for their pleasure, or that the Suh family would not benefit from the profits of the establishment anymore. Yet overall the change was welcome by most as the previously trapped flowers gradually figured out what they wanted in life. A lot started by seeking their families once more. Tearful reunions were had as long separated households were made whole once again. They were people and had their own rights now.

A few chose to remain kisaengs as it was a life they were comfortable with, but even so they didn't have to stay confined anymore; the previous set of rules were all but abolished. In the middle of all that erratic revolution, Hyewon was taken almost every day by her duties as head of the Suh family, while Sekyung worked hard to make sure enough antidote was produced and distributed to all. She took on a few apprentices in potion making classes, and after a while managed to earn a little more personal time. Hyewon came home to often find the peach blossom maiden often asleep on a couch, and never failed to tenderly brush her forehead with her lips, or carrying her to their shared bed. Waking up to each other was the happiest these two had ever been. After all they went through, this little slice of heaven was everything they deserved, and more.

Hyewon's eyes half opened as a few rays of sunlight brushed the sleeping couple's bed – Sekyung preciously nested in her lover's arms – and her lips stretched in a gentle smile at how serene her very own sleeping beauty was. Her hand brushed a few strands of hair back so she could fully appreciate her face, and her eyes fluttered open at that very moment.

"Oh. Did I wake you, my love?" Hyewon caressed Sekyung's face with her hand, cupping her cheek and pulling her in for a forehead kiss, earning a sleepy chuckle from the young woman.

"A little." She yawned and cuddled up against the noble, seeking her body heat and humming positively at the familiar scent. The smell of roses was fainter every day, but to Sekyung, whatever Hyewon smelled like was reminiscent of safety, and home. Hyewon made as if to get up, reluctantly moving out of her girlfriend's embrace. Sekyung just pulled her closer and not letting go.

"My love.. I have to get up. There's so much work piled up.." She sighed, clearly reluctant to deal with all these aristocrats for yet another day. Sekyung tugged at her hand instead, sitting on the bed with a curious smirk. Hyewon raised an eyebrow at her in her curiosity.

"What's that look? What are you scheming again, Lee Sekyung?" She sighed playfully, giving her the smile that was privy to her. Her features were the prettiest ever at this time with her eyes reflecting all the deep affection she felt for this stubborn, quirky woman.

"Why don't you get the truth out of me, my lady?" She told Hyewon seductively, crawling forward on all fours, affording a perfect view of her body to the mistress. A blush crept up the blue rose's cheeks, and enticed she moved forward, stealing a light kiss on the soft, full lips that she knew so well. When did she become so bold? Hyewon thought while blushing furiously as Sekyung embraced her and pulled her to the bed again, legs locking behind the small of her back, returning the kiss with even more passion. Her panting figure, the nightgown revealing her full breasts, and the softness of her skin pushed her lover over the edge as the kisses became more feverish, moving to her neck, her collarbones, and licking at the already hardened nipples, drawing light circles around her.
