When I was a kid...

When I was a kid,
I was innocent and my thinking was linear.
Life was fun, easy and soft like a wool.
When I was a kid,
I made friends with dirt and owed cleanliness a debt.
I made mistakes but they were erasable mistakes.
When I was a kid,
I played mummy and daddy just like Romeo and Juliet.
I sang to the sweet rhymes of happy children.
When I was a kid,
The time was special every moment because I was always playing.
I knew true love, infidelity and selfishness wasn’t know then.
When I was a kid,
The time ran like airplane.
It was difficult to catch time and me.
When I was a kid,
My parents told me not to grow so quick.
Then I always thought I was moving in slow motion.
When I was a  kid,
I thought I was ready for the day I would grow older.
Now I wish I didn’t grow up really quick.
When I was a kid,
I didn’t  have to worry about having responsibilities.
Now I really I wish I was a little kid once again.

When i was little my parents didn't want me to grow up quickly but I have always been eager to grow older, to be an adult and to make decisions and choices myself. Now I am already a teenager and It’s really stressful been one.
I feel like been a little kid one again, who else feel this way???
