Ray crawled back into bed next to me and wrapped his arm around me. “You alright?” he asked. I nodded. “Im just....thinking about Shannon. Her first day of work is tomorrow. She kind of has a crush on the boss, and I kind of told her to.....go for it.”

“Okay, and.....”

“I was just thinking like, business and pleasure don't mix too well together.”

Ray grabbed my hand and kissed it. “Listen, Shannon's a big girl. She can handle herself. Okay?”

I looked away from Ray. I didn't want to hear that. I felt bad because I was the one who told her to go for it, and if something didn't go right, she'd blame me.

Ray grabbed my face and turned it to face him. “Baby girl, don't stress it. She is good money.” he assured me, kissing my lips. I nodded and rested my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head. “I love you, Arione.”

“I love you too.” I replied as I fell asleep.

Shannon

I got up bright and early Monday morning. Work started at 9:00 and I woke up at seven.

I did my morning routine which consisted of taking my shower, brushing my teeth and making my breakfast. As I ate, I thought of the beautiful smile Mr. Beign gave off as he played around with his children. Getting with Mr. Beign wouldn't have been a problem, but I wasn't really looking for a relationship. Especially one that consisted of children. I just wasn't ready for it yet.

After eating, I got dressed to impress. I wore a loose button down shirt that showed a little cleavage, a tight pencil skirt that stopped a little above my knees, showing off my curves, and my two inch heels that were going to make all guys' jaw drop. I put my hair in a low professional bun, leaving a few strands out from the front. After spraying some perfume, I was ready to walk out the door. I got in my red Lexus and drove off to my new job.

“Good morning, Ms. Casper. Don't you look lovely.” were the first words he said to me when I walked in.

“Thank you, Mr. Beign. So do you.” I gave off a smile and clocked myself in. I walked inside my new office and began my day.

Lunch time came quicker than I thought, but I was happy though because I was hungry. I grabbed my car keys and left my office, making sure to lock it. I was walking over to the door when he called me.

“Youre on your way out?” he asked me, blocking the door. I nodded, walking around him.

“Do you want to make it for two?” he smiled that award winning smile. I shrugged. Lunch was no problem.

“You are really refreshing.” he laughed as he ate some salad. I smiled, not really interested. I already knew he just wanted to fuck. All he had to do was ask. Judging by the size of his feet, he was packing.

“Where are you from, Ms. Casper? May I call you Shannon?”

“Depends. Can I call you Derek?” I tilted my head. He just laughed.

“That would be pushing it, wouldn't it be?”

“Well, I guess you've got to stick to calling me Ms. Casper.” I smirked, knowing I was getting under his skin, which was my plan.

“I like that.” he pointed his fork at me.

“And what is it that you like?” I was playing naïve, but I knew exactly what he was talking about.
