The Start of Training

Author: Im excited to start this story. I cant promise anything too smut in this story. Also I don't own any of the images I use, all credit goes to the amazing artist who created them. I'll try my best to make them sound like there supposed to.

Chapter 1

Zoro's Pov:

I hear muffled complaints about being ordered around. Sounds like Perona. I groan and turn over trying to ignore the disturbance of my dream. "WAKE UP! Get up already!" She's so loud, dammit. "Tch, what?" I stare at the ceiling wondering about the others. "Don't what me! How long are you gonna sleep? Mihawks waiting for you." She huffs turning away.

Mihawks Pov:

I look up to the sound of the door. Zoro walks in with Perona following behind complaining about him having no sense of direction. "Your directions are too complicated." He mumbles while she yells at him.

I get up and walk out while they follow. I walk towards the clearing where Zoro fought the humandrills.

As the group of humandrills come out of the forest I hear Zoro grunt in annoyance. "I have to fight them again?" He complains. "They're perfect for your training. When you defeat the leader then we can move on to something else." I glanced at him before sitting on a rock not far away. Perona follows behind me, floating beside me while I sit to watch.

"Tch, fine." He exclaimed pushing the handle of his sword out with his thumb waiting for them to attack.

Zoro's Pov:

One of them lunges forward. Our swords clash as more start charging. I push hard on my swords to break free and jump out of the way of another attack. I went at it at what seemed like forever never able to gain the upper hand, but it was the same for the humandrills. I finally tired them out with a last attack around when it was getting dark, but I too was tired and breathing hard. Perona had went to the castle a little while ago but Mihawk was still here. I stumble, too tired to walk straight. I plop down and take a breath before deciding to go to the castle. "Wrong way." I heard Mihawk state while walking in the actual direction of the building. I huff and follow close behind him. I turn then realize he wasn't infront of me anymore, "He probably got lost" I mutter. "No, you did." I hear someone sigh right behind me.

Mihawks Pov:

I notice I'm alone and look behind me to find Zoro not there anymore. I walk in the direction I sense him in. I find him standing there rubbing the back of his head, "He probably got lost." I raised an eyebrow and assume this wont be the last time this happens. I sigh "No, you did." He jumps and turns around. "I was going the right way though," I heard him mumble to himself. "Just follow closer this time." I walk ahead of him back the way we came in the correct direction. I feel a light tug on the back of my shirt. I glance back to see Zoro lightly holding my shirt looking to the side a slight blush washing over his face. I smirk a little and continue walking.

Zoro's Pov:

"Just follow closer this time." He speaks in an almost bored tone witch kind of pisses me off. He starts walking and I quickly grab a small part of his shirt as I follow him. He turns his head slightly so I look away, my face feeling kind of warm. 'What am I doing!?' I screamed at myself. 'Ugh, this is so embarrassing... Shit' I looked back in time to see a slight smirk on his face. What's with that smirk it just makes me feel more like an idiot. He's such a cocky bastard. I noticed my heart beating faster than normal since we started walking again. I ignore it and think nothing of it. We reach the castle and I let go of his shirt just in time before Perona comes out.

"Its about time!" She floats over talking about how she's starving and wants Mihawks cooking. I don't know why but her floating around him like that pisses me off. "Go away." I bark before walking off to go take a nap.

An hour later I hear my door open. I assume it was Perona and mumbled at her to leave me alone. I feel a tap on my shoulder. I slap at her hand while laying facing the wall, but my wrist is caught in a strong but gentle grip. It isn't Perona. I quickly turn over to see who it was, ready to beat some sense into whoever intruded on my nap. "Tsk, Who the hel-", I turn to find Mihawk standing there looking down at me with his sharp eyes as if he can see right through me. I shiver slightly and yank my hand away before he notices. I feel my face slightly warm up feeling his cold gaze. "W- What is it?" I didn't mean to stutter. 'Shit' I curse at myself. "The foods ready," he turns after a few moments of silence. "Okay." I mumble as I get up to follow him. We walk in the dinning room and Perona is already enjoying her meal. Mihawk and Perona sit at opposite ends of the table. I walk over and sit in front of my plate, which was the seat next to Mihawk to the right. I glance at him guessing Perona set it there, "Thanks for the food". I quickly start eating, starving from training all day. After I'm done I wash my cup, plate, and fork then go to walk back to my room.

As I walk down the hallway, forgetting which way it was, I see Mihawk pass by on the other side. Without realizing it I start to follow behind him but not close enough for him to realize, at least I thought so anyway. I ended up following him all the way to his room and didn't realize what I was doing till I saw him walk in his room. As I finally catch up I find myself standing infront of his room. 'Why did I follow him?' I concluded it was a mistake and I just  instinctively did it to find my way. "Come in." Called an amused but calm voice. I jump, startled. I stand there flushed. I shake my head, 'dammit'. I quickly turn to walk away but the door opens. Mihawk stands there shirt halfway unbuttoned like he was about to take a shower.

Mihawks Pov:

I'm walking down the hall towards my room when I notice someone following me. I could tell it was Zoro in the way he stays a little ways away not saying anything. I let him think I don't know and continue walking. I walk in my room and close the door. When he reaches it he just stands outside of it. I chuckle at his cute behavior. I was planning on getting in the shower but decide otherwise. "Come in." I start walking towards the door since it seemed he wasn't gonna open it himself. I look down at him, noticing the tiny bit of blush. I step back and open the door wider.

He looks a little surprised at my gesture then nervously walks in. He stops in the middle of my room and looks around as I close the door.

"Well, what is it?" I ask him, curious of why he followed me. "I didn't mean to." 'What's that suppose to mean' I thought to myself. He looks away and then looks back at me like it was my fault. "Why did you let me in? I was about to go back, tch." I study his face while having an expressionless one trying not to smile at how nervous he is. "Wait here I'll be out of the shower in a bit." He leans against the wall as I go to the bathroom.
