*ON HOLD* The New Boy In town

Chapter 1

Emma's POV
So it's my first day back. From a distance I see I ran up to the gals give them a massive hug. I haven't seen them in a long time.

 Out of the corner of my eye, a newcomer catches my full attention . His top buttons are undone and his tie falls loosely around his neck. His hands are shoved into his trousers and his head is full of thick blonde of curls that bounced as he took each step towards the school doors. 

He languidly panned his head round and his eyes slowly met mine. I nudge my friends and they follow my eyeline, in time to catch the new guy wink in my direction.

 "Oof look at that sex god over there and I think he has the hots for Emma" says Libby whilst winking. 

Libby has been my best friend since year 7, through thick and thin. We first acknowledged each other in history class when we started singing the exact same song and years later, we still come out as thick as thieves 

Form time .
When I sat down in form, I get a warm welcome from my teacher. She puts the seating plan on the board and I'm relieved to see that I'll be sitting on my own, in the back, mainly because I could get away with using my phone, which is a win-win situation. 

The head of house,  Mr. Hill , walks in the classroom , with an announcement, "We have a new student in the form, and I want you to treat him like everyone else. His name is Josh."

I quickly, I look up from the letter I was reading, and see a boy sculpted by god himself.It takes me a few minutes to realize it's the same guy from earlier . 

Ok, Emma. Let's be cool calm and collected.

 Miss bell instructs him to take the empty seat  next to me and that I'll  have to show him around for today. 

Smile and wave, Emma.

Actually, don't smile. Just wave. 

He reaches me and sits down and with a raspy but inquisitive voice, he says "I'm Josh, and you are ...." 

"Oh, erm I'm Emma." I stick out my hand for him to shake.

I'm already embarrasses of my response. Why did I do that ?

 With no awkwardness, he shakes my hand, I can feel his cold silver rings against my sweaty palm.

I hope you enjoyed the story. I am very new at this writing stuff so please give me any advice. And if there aren't commas this is because I don't know how to use them  😗✌🏽lol (my primary school English teacher is shaking their head). So this story won't be a slow burner because I personally hate them. But let me know in the comments.
