ONLY THE PAST

''Hell Rider'', you may be wondering what that means. Well, in this world the Hell Riders are creatures that the peoples call like that, because they wear masks of animals, they are immortal and they can travel in time.

How do I know this? I know this because I'm one of them.

one day I woke up, and ''they'' (unspecified people who have always been with me) told me that from then on I should wear a mask. At that point, they made me make a choice between three masks, a shark, a fox or a dragon one.

I chose the fox mask, and they told me to never take it off. I still don't know why.

The next day they gave me a manual, which if I didn't follow it it will cost me dearly.

In the first year of stay, they told me to train in various combat and survivor disciplines, in the huge dome that closes off that kind of city. I don't know how big it was, probably 20 km......

Every day I woke up to train myself. The hell Riders don't have to eat, so all the time that I spent was in training.

I think they controlled me but I'm not sure.

After that year that I spent alone, I discovered that there are other people like me, and that in two years there would be a competition where all the people should have to participate in...

After those years it was finally the time of the competition. We started in twenty.

At the beginning of the competition we were told that only three of us will survive.

The challenges were varied between running and fighting.

When only ten of us left, the challenge was a resistance challenge, we had gone on some pillars and we stayed up on those, for about one hour. At the last i was about to fall but someone did it before me so the challenge ended.

After that, there were nine of us left and the final challenge was a team challenge, which consisted of splitting us into three teams, and fighting each other between teams. Only three of us would have won.

At the end we were saved, me, a teammate and an opponent. I was ranked second after the opponent, who had a wolf mask, and before the teammate, who had a raven mask.

At that moment the only thing I knew was that I was safe.

I don't know what happened to the people that have lost, only the one that I've killed.

Now after what I said ''they'' are taking me somewhere.
