When Interrogating a Cube

Naomi: But if it didn't happen, if you were never bullied... You wouldn't be here right now. Just like if I was never bullied, I would have never met the guys.

Rubix: So is it to say, it's a good thing to be bullied?

Naomi: Depends on how you see it and where you're standing right now. Of course, it isn't when you are bullied at the moment. But once you survive it and are able to look back to it, you see the world clearer, though you won't like what you see, and you become a better person than those people who did that to you. And in doing so, you're able to do your part, making it clear to your readers and other random people reading this post-

Rubix: Naomi, we talked about this. We need to work on those fourth wall-

Naomi: What I mean to say is, showing people bullying in your crazy and hilarious writing, helps. Laughter makes the world go round, bullying stops it. Make the world spin a little bit faster.

Rubix: (Exasperated) But I'm just... I'm just a cube.

Naomi: Yes you are.

Rubix: ...

Naomi: Your lawyer is out there to see you, making a ruckus. The guys are trying to calm her down.

Rubix: That's it? I'm free?

Naomi: You've always been.

Rubix: Can I have a donut then?

Naomi: (Laughs and moves to uncuff her) Of course. Should I bring one of the guys in?

Rubix: Bring all of them in.

(Naomi gets up and goes to the door and calls for the guys, which they come in moments later.)

Jordan: Geez, your lawyer's scary.

Declan: She started to go all out.

Bennett: We don't even have a warrant of your arrest.

Naomi: (Cringes) Let's hope she doesn't find that out until we're very far away.

Rubix: You don't even have a- You know what, nevermind.

Declan: Why did you gather us here?

Rubix: (Clears throat and then begins dramatically) We're all gathered here today for the union of-

Naomi: Declan and Jordan? I knew it! I totally called it! Bennett where's my-

Jeclan: You are?! Rubix, stop putting Jeclan! It's not funny!

Rubix: (Laughs) Naomi, it was just a joke. And dammit Bennett, put those hundred bills away. It's dangerous for you to casually carry that much money.

Bennett: It is?

Rubix: (Mutters) These damn rich people...

Rubix: Ignoring that... Where are my donuts?

Declan: (Hands her a plate of donuts) Here you go.

Jordan: Since when were you holding that?

Rubix: (Waves off) Author powers.

Bennett: The subject of donuts was in most of the interview.

Rubix: I was hungry when writing this.

Declan: What's with you and donuts?

Rubix: Well I used to sell donuts in my freshman year, as I was sponsored by a senior who bought boxes of donuts daily and sent boxes away to her underlings, which included me. I got about two dozen donuts and sold it by the end of the day for me to get my share of the cut.
