"Yuuki, how did you find out your Code?" She shot at Miyuki from the side, hitting her for the first time of our team. Staggering, ice grew out of the bullet hole, covering it up. A ice particle went toward us at unexplainable speed, before Shion shot at it where it dispersed to water.

"I don't know! We just find it out! Shion, we're retreating for now! Cover for us!" Grabbing and pushing for me to stand up, we started to run out of the exit. The icicle legs seemed not to be a problem, it's functional like a normal body part.

"How did you figure out!" We turned a corner to the familiar narrow pathway. I felt a cold chill by my neck, where I turned around to ice freezing the floor below at high speed.

The door was only a few feets away. Our steps got faster and faster, rushing to the door with all our mights. I staggered in speed, my body was going to take it's toll. The ice was only inches away from me.

"Daichi, hurry!" Yuuki reached the door first, lending her hand to me. Grabbing it immediately, we got inside before the ice freezes the outside. It was dark, and the only sounds that were made was breathing. Pure silence.

"When I was little, I had a dog. He got ran over by a truck, and I came.. to see the wounds. It started to heal." She said as she finally caught her breath, and her face started turning pink over the situation.

"Get away from me! Pervert! Hentai!" Whacking my chest with her arms, it was getting annoying. I grabbed her hands, and put it over her head. I looked down, and saw her face becoming red. Now seeing it from a different perspective, I guess it seemed a little perverted. But, it could be more.

I put my face closer to her, my breathing becoming even. Smelling cinnamon from her hair, I grabbed partial of her hair and put it closer to my nose. The smell was intoxicating. And her face too. It was turning from strawberries to watermelon. Smirking, I came in close again, letting go of her hair and held my hands to her cheeks.

About a few feets taller than her, I made her look at me. Her green eyes looked innocent, as our face became closer again. She closed her eyes, awaiting for the next step.

"Ow!" Chuckling in the process, I moved my hand away from the red spot on her forehead. Sitting on the cramped ground, I sighed over the predicament. After she was done screaming out more insults, she sat next to me.

"Stupid Daichi... Such a pervert.." Yuuki mumbled, with me patting her blonde head.

Her dog was in an accident before she healed it with Code: Evergreen. What was the point of that? She had to be depressed about it, which makes sense after all. But what was I missing from it?

Looking at the freezing ice, we couldn't get out without fire. It was impossible or else we'll die. I couldn't even take out the ice that replaced my legs, I would most positively die from the burning that the Head may do to me.

There was nothing we could do to stop the mavalent bitch.

There was nothing.

My eyes widened. My mind suddenly came back to the moment I first died. Shion was surprised that I still lived. I was surprised myself, as how fast I was able to put the book under my shirt. Only remembering how the birds in the sky was slowly moving in the sky.

My Code, I found it.

Numbers started filling my head, as a magic circle surrounded me. All sorts of spells were being input, as my eyes warped into something like a mechanical eyes. Stability, the heat source, the distance in complicated numbering, was this how Coders see things?

One hundred percent complete. You're set to go, Code: Pathway. Written in bold, it disappeared like flames as my eyes got adjusted to the new features. The 12 Greek Alphabet was listed on the sides of the peripheral vision, as I stood up.
