My POV
As I stared outside the window listening to the pitter patter of rain on the glass I knew we were doomed. Besides the dreadfully gloomy atmosphere there was something else on the other side of the window slowly coming closer into my view.
Outside there were exactly 13 zombies,,,All of them were headed directly-to the school with no intention of turning around and leaving us alone. I realized there was no time to waste and ran into the cafeteria to tell the others. We have to leave now or else we are going to die.
Quickly we each took a cellphone and ran to the back door. I grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen. Just in case.
We split up into two teams with three people each. My time was Abby Austin and me. The other was Hannah Sandy and Christian. Even though Austin and Sandy were pissed about being kept apart they figured it's better then being dead.
As we split up and we said our goodbyes in case we didn't see each other again I spotted a screwdriver partially buried on the ground. I quickly picked it up and told Austin and Abby to follow me.
After around a minute of running I spotted what I was looking for. A big yellow school bus. I hopped inside and got to work using the screwdriver to hot-wire the bus. After 3 tense minutes I got it working. Well I don't think anyone will care I'm driving without a license right now. Heck I'll be surprised if there is anyone to care anymore.
As I started our bumpy ride to safety I spotted the undead scum in the middle of the road. This is gonna be fun.
I quickly turned the bus and heard Abby and Austin scream as they fell onto the floor. I slammed my foot on the gas and got up to 60 miles per hour before there was a sudden SPLAT.
Zombie guts covered the street and were slowly being washed into the sewer by the rain. Austin and Abby cheered as I turned the bus around to safely continue our journey....Hope the others are doing okay.
