(Jonathan's P.O.V)
"Go out there and give it all you got!" Q yelled at us.
Tonight was Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarter-Finals against the Winnipeg Jets in Winnipeg. We get onto the ice and skate around, taking shots at Crawford. I skated to the blue line as the time ran out. The horn sounds and the anthems were sung. After the anthems, I skate to the face off circle. Brian skates over to the circle. The ref comes over and drops the puck. Game 1 had started and I win the face off.
***10:37 in the third***
I jump on to the ice and get the puck on my tape. I skate over to the blue line and pass it backwards to Hossa, who just came over it. I skate to the goal and try to block the sight of the goalie.
Hossa looks like he takes a slap shot but passes over to Sharp. He shoots it at the net and it goes in. We were winning by one.
***End of the game***
We win 3-2 and now have a 1-0 lead in the series.
