Mindstorm and Dustnova's origin story

Peter and Mia were sitting on the couch cuddling and trading kisses when Peter decided to ask her something.
"Mia as much as I love kissing you I need to stop to ask you an important question!"
"Alright what is it?" She asked.
"How did you and Dylan get your powers?"
"Well I was born with my powers! Let me link up with Dylan!" 10 seconds later dust starting circling the room and Dylan appeared.
"Hey losers why am I here?" Dylan asked them once he fully appeared. Mia rolled her eyes and glared at Peter for asking her the question. She couldn't explain Dylan's origin. He had to.
"Peter wants to hear your origin story!" Mia told him.
"Ohh ok. So it all started one random day...."

*flashback*
"DYLAN! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL GET UP!" Mia shouted at him.
"Alright I'm coming I'm coming! Is mom or dad driving us today?" He asked.
"Dad is!" Mia told him happily. They lived when their dad drove them. He was nicer than their mom. He paid more attention to them than their mom. He still didn't pay that much attention but at least he hugged them.
"I AM UP I ALREADY SHOWERED!" Dylan yelled back.
"OK LOSER THEN HURRY UP!" Mia shouted. He finally pulled his shirt on and walked out to the car.
As they were driving to school their dad was asking them questions about school and they answered each question happily talking about their favorite classes. Mia was excelling at all her classes and Dylan was befriending a bunch of kids. Little did his dad know that although this was true he was getting brutally bullied. He would hide marks on his face by stealing Mia's make up because he didn't want his dad to be disappointed in him. He knew his dad was busy with a lot of things abd he did not want to worry him with all this nonsense about bullies. It really was not that big of a deal and he could handle a few beatings every day at school. They were not that hard to deal with and they didn't bother him so much. He was always a brave kid abd he was tough. He wasn't scared of his bullies. Mia on the other hand knew about his bullies. But there was not much age could do except respect her brothers wishes.
While Mia excelled at school she had very few friends. It wasn't that she was not pretty or friendly. A lot of girls just didn't want to be friends with the nerdy sister of the bullies main target. Mia was just way  too smart for her own good. Mia didn't really mind though she was content with the few friends she had. Besides her powers told her that the people who didn't like her were actually just jealous of her beauty. Although she was nerdy she got asked out frequently by the cutest boys but Mia was never interested. She was content in her life as just a nerdy girl.
"Ok guys have a good day!" Their father said as he pulled up to the school. As the day went on they were having a pretty decent day. Dylan hadn't seen any of his bullies yet. He was standing at his locker at the end of the day when Mia all the sudden ran up to him.
"Dylan you have to run ok! You have to leave right now!" Mia whispered in a very panicked voice. Dylan was confused Mia never whispered when she was panicking.
"What's wrong?"
"I saw your bullies looking at you smirking so I read their minds. They are going to try to kill you!"
"Wha-"
"Well well well if it isn't little Dylan and his nerdy twin sister!" One of the two bullies who just approached them said.
"Dylan go! Run!" Mia told him. She knows he gets bullied regularly but if she could help him she would. He listened to her and took off down the hallway. Mia sighed and got an Uber. No telling how long this was going to take. She could take the car and pick him up later. Meanwhile Dylan the ran to an exit got out and turned into a dark alley. He could hear his bullies confused because they couldn't see he was in the alley. They decided that he was causing them more trouble than what was worth.
"Ok Dorklan you win for today! But this is not over you hear me? We will get you eventually and the guy will for sure be dead! Do not underestimate me!" Ad the. Bullies walked away Dylan blew out a sigh of relief when all the sudden a rain started pouring down. Lighting struck the ground feet next to him so he was lucky all the sudden dust started floating and he accidentally inhaled it. Anyway he texted Mia to tell her where he was but all the sudden his body started to dematerialize.
"What is happening to me! I just wanted to go home?" all the sudden he rematerialized at home!
'Hmmm I wish I had was in my room' he thought sure enough he was in his room. He could not believe it he had powers. He was always so jealous of his twin. He couldn't wait to tell Mia.
"Oh Dylan thank god you're ok!" Mia said walking into his room,
"Mia look what I can do!" He all the sudden teleported to behind Mia. She screamed and then went wide eyed.
"Y—y-you have powers?"
Yeah! Mia I realized my calling in life! I have to protect Colorado Springs!"
"If you want to do that though won't you need a secret identity?"
"Yeah how about Dustnova?"
*flasback*
"3 months later I decided I needed help so Mia joined me! I gave her the alias of Mindstorm and then 6 months later you found out about us or well Mia."
"Oh wow! So what happened with your parents!"
"We asked them if we could live at the Avengers tower after we battled. They were away on a business trip so they didn't know we were gone. They knew about our powers and they decided that it would be a good idea for us to be trained and to be around people who could understand our powers completely. And since you guys believe in the impossible it seemed like the perfect fit! And I cannot speak for Dylan but I have never been so happy in my life especially now that I found my soulmate!" Peter beamed at her.
"Oh barf" Dylan said.
"You are the same way with Lila!"
All the sudden Nat came in.
"Mia it's time to learn how go control your invisibility."
Mia didn't want to do that so she turned invisible and ran around the room.
"Mia! Come on we do not have time for this! Steve told me I have to train you today! SERIOUSLY?!" Nat said. As she tried to find her Dylan and Peter chuckled. Yeah sure the twins had changed everyone's lives at the tower. But things were certainly more interesting when they were around.
