Narrator's POV:
" Mommy, why can't I go talk to that boy over there?" ( Y/n) sits with her mother on a bench, where ( y/n ) points to a blonde boy known as Naruto. " Sweety, he's a demon, you can't talk to him, he'll curse you, or even hurt you!" Naruto sees ( y/n ) pointing at him, and he waves, giving her a sad smile. ( y/n )'s mom tries to grab her daughter, and pull her away, but ( y/n ) pulls her arm out of her moms grasp. " Mommy, I can play with whoever I want to play with!" And with that, ( y/n ) runs over to the little boy. He looks at her, giving her a confused glance. " Why'd you come to play with me, no one ever wants to play with me, they say I'm cursed." He lets a tear fall from his eye, and looks at her. ( Y/n ) puts her hands on her hips and huffs at the boy. " Well, I don't think you're cursed, and I wanna be your friend, so what do you say?" The boy looks at ( y/n ) shocked, no one's ever asked to be his friend. " O-okay, we can be friends, but why me?" " Because I think you're special uh... what's your name again?" The boy gives her a smile. " I'm Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki, what's your name?" " I'm ( y/n ), ( Y/n ) ( L/n )!" She sticks her hand which Naruto shakes. He gives her a happy smile. " We are going to be best friends ( y/n )!" The third Hokage looks over at the small boy and his new friend. " I knew you could find friends Naruto, you just needed to find the right person!"
