"Oh! Hi Remus" My eyes snap open at the casual comment and turn my head to be greeted by four tall boys that looked somewhat pissed off.

"What's all this then?" Sirius asks and gestures to the little set up of food, my record player and magazines the girls and I had set up on the grass.

"A day by the lake?" Lily asked in more of a questioning tone as she looked towards Marlene and I.

"I needed a distraction. I'm not having a very good day" I sigh and sit up from Marlene's lap. My blue eyes looked towards Sirius who's stare seemed to soften as he nodded his head and bent down to be face to face with me.

"Hey fawny baby. I've missed you. Haven't seen you in at least a day" He smiles and leans forward to wrap his arms around me in a hug.

I missed Sirius' hugs. He was always amazing at them. They were warm and grounded me. Reminding me that I was in the arms of a friend who I could trust.

My brother

"I'm sorry" I whispered into his neck. My petite arms wrapping around his neck and pulling him closer to my small body.

"I just can't see him. I can't talk to him" I mumbled and felt the shaggy haired boy tighten his hold on me.

"He's miserable without you Fawn. You throughly are his other half. He's like a blind man without you" He replied and with that he departed from the hug and stood back up.

"Doesn't seem like that with all the bloody girls he had" I scoff quietly to myself and crossed my arms over my chest.

Did he really think I was that naive?

"So, can we join?" Remus asks and sends me a wide smile. He held up a new book in his hands and from the look of the cover I already knew it was my favourite.

"Romeo and Juliet!" I gasped happily and patted the spot beside me excitedly. The Lupin boy's smile widened even more as he passed the book to James and sat down beside Mary. Sparking up a conversation with the blushing girl who smiled brightly at him.

Oh you dick

Sirius made himself comfortable on the other side of Marlene. His arm casually draping over her shoulder and pulling her closer to him as they both started to talk in hushed whispers.

No, come talk to me you wanker

Peter smiled at Lily and sat down beside the strawberry blonde who returned his smile and started to flick through her magazine with him. Stopping on a page to point out a horoscope or article she knew he would like.

Don't leave me alone with that tosser

James walked towards the empty spot beside me. His tall body bending awkwardly before he sat down beside me and drummed his fingers against the hardback cover of the book.

"So umm- you like Romeo and Juliet? No that's a shit question" James asked before he groaned and flipped open the book with a stern hand.

"It's my-"

"Favourite I know. In third year you wouldn't go a day without reciting a quote from it. Your favourite was always-"
