How it all started

Our story begins.

It's nighttime in the Southern Water Tribe, the sky filled with storm clouds and the air with snow. The mountains along a coastline covered in thick snow which three cloaked figures advance up the hillside, the middle figure holding aloft a lantern lighting there way through the dark. Their purple cloaks stand out against the white snow below their feet but The trio pauses. Their new focus are a few homes atop the hill- several igloos and tents dotting it, there Three tiny figures approach one igloo; it blazes with light.

Tonraq, a large muscular man in Water Tribe clothing, is holding aloft a lantern. He bows his head in respect to the cloaked figures opening his door and inviting them in. "The White Lotus has honored my family by coming. Thank you."

Senna halts her sweeping and bows. "Welcome." She greets watching them pull off their hoods.

Tonraq walks around them. Their leader, a short, hefty man with greying hair, speaks. "We have investigated many claims, both here and in the Northern Tribe. All have turned out to be false."

Tonraq comes over to Senna and puts an arm on her shoulder. The couple smiles at one another, then turns back to the trio. "Then you should be happy to know, your search has come to an end." She smiles to the figures who are all
clearly unimpressed with this declaration.

"What makes you so sure that the avatar is here?"

Senna turns to the left and calls out through the house. "Children, please come in here."

the White Lotus trio still looking bland, when a slab of rock flies past them. Their eyes shoot wide. Startled, they turn looking at circular hole in the room's stone interior wall. In front of a bright light, a kid Korra strikes an action pose and then starts jumping around, bending the various elements around them. "We are the Avatar, you gotta deal with it!" Korra shouted encroaching on the trio. They step back, their expressions still shocked, as Korra bends. The trio's leader getting the hem of his cloak set ablaze is followed by Korra putting out the small fire with a spot of bent water. They look from the extinguished cloak fire to Korra.

"We?" One of them whispered to the leader watching korra dance around her bending.

"Oh sorry- y/n? What's taking you so long?" His mother calls out, to which a small boy pops his head out into the room 

He didn't say anything but his sister pulls his hand into the middle of the room. "Show them what we got!" She ordered nudging him to bend.

Finally, the young Boy blasts fire but before it could reach the members he waterbended taking out the fire in a quick gesture of his hand, he smiles softly hitting the floor to send the ground up slightly and finishing off with a huff of air, swirling it around the three. Their shocked faces grew- this avatar was two for one.

many years had passed since then.

The Two avatars being seventeen years old. Korra is their training grounds, set amid the snowy mountains of the South Pole. Her brother y/n not too far away as he meditates upon a rock. Korra kicks flames at her many training partners who are failing to block her attack. He's knocked off his feet and thrown backwards. Korra turns her face to her two remaining opponents. They simultaneously blast fireballs at her. Korra is boasting a cocky expression, she easily disperse the double attack.

As she continued fighting, katara speaks up looking over to Korra. "She's strong."

As the other two Lotus members and an elderly Fire Nation return their focus to the battlefield, the leader of the trio turns his head to look at Katara. His expression is one of severe disapproval, even annoyance. "She lacks restraint. Y/n however, can bend all four elements, it's silly how he wants to wait for his sister"
