Strange Client ~Seulrene~

I woke up after the dream and sighed. I don't know why I did that to her. I'm still lost in my thoughts and then got a call from Yeri again

"Ayyy Irene!" How could she be so energetic in the morning?

"What?" I was really grumpy at this point.

"The client would like your number. She said that she wants to talk to you personally."

"Fine just give her my number." I said still sleepy.

"They also said that they want to make an appointment on Saturday for the tour"

"Ya ya. Just leave me alone" Before she could respond to me, I hung up on her. I then remembered who my client was and my eyes went wide. Why did I tell her to give her my number. Ughhhh Irene you dumbass. I started to hit my self in the forehead while calling myself stupid. I then heard a honk outside of my house. Ah right I still need to go to work. I went over to my bathroom and put on the necklace with Seulgi's name on it. I never forgot the promise, but what if she forgot. Is she still wearing it? She has to right? She remembers me so she must remember our promise and the necklace. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard another two honks. Jeezus, can't she just leave me alone I thought. I ran down to the car and saw her.

"Irene Unnie!!! Get your ass in here" She said.

"Fine fine" I said as I laughed at her. Joy has been my friend for a long time. I met her and Yeri when I went to the US and was surprised that they went there to also become tour guides. We three became really close to one another at this point and Joy was always the one to pick me and Yeri up from our homes. We drove off to Yeri's house. When we got there, I got out and ran to Yeri's doorbell and rang it and then ran off. Yeri came out and already knew that I ding dong ditched. Joy and I burst into laughter. She got in the car and started to lightly punch me. Joy suddenly turned up the music and we all sang/scream the words to the song. We always did this before going to work. I then turned to Yeri and started to get serious.

"Joy turn down the music please" Joy looked at me surprised at how serious I was after the fun we just had and turned down the volume. I look towards Yeri again.

"Yeri, did you give Seulgi my phone number?" I was dead serious. Yeri and Joy noticed how serious I was.

"Did something happen while I was away?" Joy asked, looking at me. She didn't know about the new client, but she did know about my story with Seulgi and I. I repeated the question.

"Yeri, did. you. give. Seulgi. my. number?"

Yeri looked me straight in the eyes and nodded a yes. I could tell she was sorry for doing that. I looked at her and sighed. There was nothing I could do. A job's a job. I couldn't bring myself to call or make contact with Seulgi. I was too scared that she would hate me. I didn't want to see her cry and I didn't want to see her hurt, so I kept my distance.

"Wait, Seulgi as in like the 'Seulgi the bear' Seulgi?" Joy interrupted my thoughts. I looked towards her and nodded.

"Yes that Seulgi." I said. The rest of the car ride was silent. I didn't dare say another word and I don't think Joy and Yeri wanted to as well. We arrived at our company's building and went in. I got into my office and began my day as usual. I told people where would be great spots to go and gave directions and the cost. I almost forgot about Seulgi for a little moment until I got a text. I looked at the number and didn't recognise it.

My heart stopped. I was about to text back until my manager stepped in.

"Irene. I need to speak with you" I looked up at him and nodded. We walked into his office

"What do you need sir?" He turned around and looked at me

"You need to do well this Saturday Ms. Bae. Kang Seulgi is a very influential person and if you don't make her standards, our company can be ruined. If you don't do well, you know what will happen" I look up at him and he is smiling at me. I could sense danger and nodded. I left very quickly scared. I look at my phone and saved Seulgi's contact.

I called it a day and went back home. Once I got there, I ran to my bed and flopped on it. I sighed and stared at the ceiling once again thinking about the stupid bear
