05 ~ That Weirdly Shapped Tree

Those two trees should be twins!

Another half an hour passed and we crossed another weirdly shaped tree.

I stopped them.

"Guys wait..." I called them disappointed.

"Yes?" Noah replied.

"We've been walking in circles... It's the third time we're crossing this tree..." I told them.

I could see it on their faces, the desolation, the disappointment and most of all, how tired they were, just like I am.

"Hey." I said. "Don't be like that, well find a way to get out of here!" I tried to cheered them.

"She's right, we'll find a way to get out of the forest." Noah said.

"But how!?" Sarah replied.

"Hand me the map."

Noah gave me the map and I laid it on the ground.

"So to get to the village we should've walked East" Sarah said.

"Yep"

"And if we're walking in circles there must be something we're doing wrong?" She continued.

"Yep"

"Okay, I know what to do!" Noah announced. "Instead of walking around trying to reach somewhere, we should guide ourselves with the sun!"

"And do you know how to do that?" Sarah asked.

"Of course!" Noah said.

"How? Are you a scout or something?!"

"I no longer am but I was when I was 12! And with pride!" Said Noah.

"Fantastic! Let's go!" I said.

I was almost 1pm and the sun was uphigh in the sky, and from nowhere i saw Noah climbing a tree. When he got to the top of the tree, he started looking at the sky and started pointing in some directions. Then got down and started a speech.

"Look guys, i think we were walking towards North instead os East because according to the sun North's over there so East is-"

"Now in English please..." Sarah interrupted. "Where do we need to go?"

"Okay, calm down, cupcak-"

"What the hell did you just call me?" Sarah shouted pissed.

"No-nothing!" He said

"Well that better..." She said with a cocky voice.

A silence came after this.

"So... Where were we?" I tried to break the ice.

"Oh yes well..." Noah said tripping in his own words. "I'm not sure, but I thing we should walk in that direction" He said pointing right. "Oh and along the way I'll be climbing some trees to se if I find any signs of the village and we should drop some rocks to make sure we aren't going in circles again.-" He suggested.

"I've already taken care of that!" Sarah said with pride.

"Of what?" Noah and I said at the same time.

"Of the rocks!" She announced. "When you said we where walking in circles, I started catching some rocks in case we needed those, and we do!"

"Good job, Sarah!" I said, hi-fiving her.

"Let's go, guys!" Noah said.

.

(1hours later and after Noah climbed tons of trees)

"I think we're going in the right direction!" Noah shouted from the top of another tree.

"At least we haven't seen the rocks i've been dropping." Sarah said.

"Okay I'm hungry guys." I said changing the subject.

"What do you want?" Sarah asked like I had tons of stuff to choose from.

"What do we have?" Noah asked.

"We have two bars of chocolate, an half eaten sandwich that belongs to Noah, other 2 that belong to me and Emily, a bottle of water and that all..." Sarah answered.

"Gimme the chocolate bar please." She handed it to me and I gave a huge bite, Damn I didn't realise how hungry I was until now!

"Chubby..." Noah almost whispered between his teeth.

"Shhh..." I shushed him.

Me and Sarah started talking about the school.

"So why are you going to the boarding school, Sarah?"

"Because my uncles are trying to help me controling my life." She said.

"Uncles?"
