It rained blood,  in the forest I was in.

The blood was not normal though, instead of metallic, it was bitter, like cyanide.

Yellow dyed my shirt, and as impassive as I was regularly, I really liked this shirt.

Vintage.

"Sad," I frowned.

The branches would poke and scratch at my bare feet; for running away from the monster, I was very unfeeling.

I don't know why; I don't believe I'm sick, but if I am, what am I to do with it? The beast behind me wouldn't care if I felt anger or sadness against it, of course, I feel threatened, but that's an instinct, for survival purposes, but I sometimes get curious what I would feel at a certain moment.

Like right now, I should have tears uncontrollably running down my cold cheek, or feel melancholic about all that I have to lose, but to be frankly, all I have to lose is my life and it's not much to begin with.

There was a thunder, and with that, I felt the beast shudder behind me: heard through the pace she was running, and the slightly sound of a thump as if knees had taken a short fall.

I continued my running until I decided, "What is there to lose?"

I sighed as I abruptly turned around: "Only my life."
