"I'll get it!" Abby yelled from downstairs, I shrugged as I continued painting the heart. Before I could put my painting brush down my door bursts open revealing Charli, Jaden and Kio, followed by abby.

"Ever heard of knocking?" I chuckled going on with what i was doing.

"What are your plans for today?" Jaden asked as they all plopped on my bed , abby just walked to my desk chair and sat on it.

"I don't think i have any I guess i will finish my painting and probably do some schoolwork why?" I shrugged not looking at any of them.

"Schoolwork can wait" charli demanded before getting of my bed and walking to my closet. I gave her a confused look and looked at abby.

"We're hanging out at the sway house for the day and might sleep there as well" she stated and i just whined.

"Why can't we stay here?" I whined.

"Because there are more fun stuff to do at sway" Jaden said looking at me, he's eyes moved to the painting in my hand as he saw what i was drawing.

"What's this?" He asked getting off my bed and walking towards me, he sat down on the floor next to me and snatching the drawing from my hand.

"Hey! Give it back" i tried taking it back but he had a pretty long arm so I couldn't reach it. I gave in and gave him a death glare as he started taking a closer look on the painting. The painting was basically a big heart which had cracks in it, the biggest crack was Jaden's, the feelings i had for him and how i can't control myself around him, getting all the sparks and butterflies but also knowing it's not gonna happen. Even if I crossed my boundaries to be with him I don't think he feels the same and that's where my biggest fear comes out, REJECTION. I can't deal with them, they can literally break me into pieces.

"Whose heart is this?" He asked confused, thank god he didn't get it.

"Mine" i smiled.

"And the crac- " before he finished his question thank god he didn't, charli came back with a backpack in her right hand and some clothes in her left.

"These are all your 'necessary' stuff" she mocked me throwing the backpack for me to catch "and this is an outfit so you can get ready " she placed the clothes on my bed.

"Thank you chars although you didn't have to bother yourself getting my stuff ready" i smiled.

"It's nothing, plus if I didn't you wouldn't have thought of getting your ass of this floor today" she smirked playfully.

"Why would you think that?" I asked dumbly even tho i know the answer, they all know it.

"Because you're not the type of person to have fun , you'd rather stay in and study ALLLL dayy" kio smirked pressing of the L.

"So you're saying that im a nerd?" I glared at him.

"Your words not mine" he shrugged playfully, I looked around for anything to throw and all i found was my flip flops so i threw both pairs on him, shooting one of them right in his stomach.

"Owww emily!" He whined, i just smirked before everyone laughed at how stupid we were.

"Now enough talking get out so i could get dressed!" I smiled.

they all walked out, but I noticed Jaden was still looking deep down at the painting, if he noticed the hint then it's over for me. I noticed that while he was walking out he had his phone in his hand although when he first came his hands were empty. It's not what it looks like right?

Note:
Just imagine charli as a 18 year old، although tbh this story is more of an original than a fanfic because im basically using these characters more as familiar looks for you to imagine the events if that makes sense lol.

Ugh i know this chapter was boring but it's all for the best trust me😉
