Minato watched from the cave enterance. The third Hokage had sent them into another world in hopes that Minato's student could heal. What he failed to mention however is that they would be turned into cats.
Minato sighed. He himself had turned into a thin built sandy gold cat with darker bands on his long tail. He looked over his shoulder to were his wife and charge were sleeping. Thou to be fair said charge was also his , unoficial , son.
Kushina had turned into a beautiful long haired redish brown she-cat. Minato smiled softly as he caught sight of Kushina's swollen belly. They'd have another kit to watch before long. " Dad , " came a quiet voice from his side.
Minato jumped slightly in suprise and turned his head. Sitting beside him was Kakashi's cat form. Kakashi's fur was a soft grey , but had a few patches of sandy gold and redish brown thrown in. Minato's eyes softened. " Couldn't sleep , " he asked. Kakashi shook his head and laid down so his fur touched Minato's.
Minato wrapped his long tail around the kit. Kakashi burried his face into Minato's belly fur in response. " I miss Obi and Rin , " Kakashi mumbled. Minato licked his forehead comfortingly. " I do to , Kit , " he whispered.
After a bit Minato became aware Kakashi had fallen asleep. He smiled and closed his eyes too. They'd look for the clans tomarrow.
