Before you start reading, I have to tell you that Jelene lives in Canada. And in Canada, more specifically Montreal, there's 5 years of college, and there's no middle school. It goes from elementary to high school to college to university. Anyway, enjoy!

This story is copyrighted, so please don't steal my ideas. I came up with them, and I'm sure you can come up with your own too.

Jelene's POV

My hands we're being held tightly by my best friend. I waited anxiously for our names to be called one by one in alphabetical order. Finally, it was my turn...

"Jelene de la Cruz," our college administrator announced.

I quickly stood up from my seat, and walked up to the stage to get my college diploma. In my hands was proof of what I have achieved these past 5 years. All of those studying, and burning the midnight oil many times. I was looking forward to...

"Everyone, let's have a round of applause for the class of 2016," our college administrator screamed into the microphone, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Congratulations, Jelene!" my aunt yelled as she came in. "I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you, auntie," I said to her as I gave her a quick hug.

Afterwards, I quickly ran into my room, and closed the door behind me to block as many noise as possible. Three weeks ago, I chatted with my cousin, Brandon. Yes, Brandon del Rosario, a member of the biggest boy band at the moment, NovaFive.

*FLASHBACK*

"Are you sure you want to study here for University?" Brandon asked from the computer screen.

We were skyping each other at midnight. It was only the time of the day he was free for lunch. He was very busy. His band mates and he are currently recording their next album, making them busier than ever. He had to wake up early in the morning to get ready for work.

By early, I mean at 9. For some reason, he's not a morning person. Even after a busy day of work, he would always watch the telly or even, go online. After recording sessions, it's either interviews or photo-shoots.

"You sound like you don't want me to attend university there," I joked at him.

He chuckled. "Of course I want you here. I'm getting tired and annoyed of your brother."

"Oh yeah, that reminds me. Can I talk to Sean?"

"He's not home yet. He just left the recording studio. He'll be here in about 10 minutes, 20 depending on traffic."

Sean was also a recording artist. Like Brandon, but solo. He's become quite successful himself. And he's only 17. Amazing, right? I sound like I'm bragging, but honestly, I'm just very proud of him. He lives with Brandon. That was part of my mom's and his deal. He was allowed to be a recording artist in a foreign country, but there was one condition.

He had to live with Brandon so he wouldn't get in trouble, since he was a ladies man, and is most likely to have one night stands with many fans adoring him. He often doesn't come visit us as well, but he comes from time to time. And I mean, around Christmas time, and his 1 week vacation in summer that he usually takes the same time as Brandon takes his vacation.

"Anyways, I haven't been updated in a while," Brandon said from the computer screen.

"I know what you're thinking Brandon. I don't have a boyfriend," I whispered-screamed at him.

Actually, in all of my life, I only had 2 boyfriends. One from high school, but soon after we broke up. And one I had in college. We were going out for about 4 months, until he broke up with me over a girl he met at a party. I was heartbroken. I started failing tests, less attentive in class, and sometimes even got in trouble with professors.

"I think I just heard someone pull up in front of our house," my cousin said.

I rolled my eyes. "More like a mansion," I mumbled.

He chuckled.

"I'm home!" I heard my annoying little brother scream.

"Upstairs!" Brandon screamed.

"What are you...? Oh. Hello there, sis!"

"What's up, kiddo?" I asked him. "Are you still a virgin?"

Brandon started laughing hysterically as my brother started blushing.

"Maybe," he mumbled.

"Sean Mitchell de la Cruz, did you have sex? I'm telling mom!" I screamed.

Brandon started laughing louder, his hands clutching his ribs.

"I'm just joking, sis. Jeez, you look tense. Anyways, be right back. I have to go change into something more comfortable. These skinny jeans are killing me."

I chuckled. Just then, Brandon stopped laughing. I rolled my eyes at him for his immaturity.

"What?" he asked.

"Don't encourage him to have sex with strangers," I replied.

"Wait, what? You think that I? No, no, no. I'm still a virgin, you know."

"Sure," I said sarcastically. "You have a beautiful girlfriend. How do I know if you guys are not doing it?"

"Because, you know I'm not like that," he said seriously.

Honestly, Brandon is a pretty fun guy to hang around with. He's funny, sweet, cute, and good looking. He's probably one of the rare guys on this Earth that stays loyal to their girlfriends.

"I'm back," my little brother said as he took Brandon's place in front of the computer.

"I'm going to leave you both. I have a date with April tonight. See you in 3 weeks, cuz," he said as he left the room.

I almost forgot about it. Wow. Time certainly goes by very fast. He's coming in 3 weeks to pick me up. I'm excited, yet scared of leaving my friends, and my mom and dad. Sean was capable of doing so, and I'm sure I can do it as well.

The rest of our video chat went great! We laughed, we sometimes got emotional, and sometimes, we annoyed each other via internet. I had to leave soon afterwards to the house party. This was basically it. The first night officially a college graduate.
