"Yo, Cameron!" My friend Ryan called out to me.
"Sup dude?" I said as I walked closer to him.
"Nothing, just wanted to know if you wanted to skip fifth hour to go to the park and smoke?" He asked. There was a small park just up the road from the school and nobody went up there besides us smokers.
"Nah. I think I'll go to class. If my dad sees that I keep skipping, I'm dead." I lied. It was tempting to go up and smoke, but I actually wanted to go to class because there was this really cute nerdy girl in my class 5th hour. We actually had six classes together, and I actually wanted to go to class, just to see her.
"Alright man. How about after school? We can run by the gas station and pick up some cigs there?" He suggested.
I nodded. "Okay. See ya later then." I gave him a small wave and headed to 5th hour as the bell rang.
"Hi Cameron." Some random girl said in a flirting tone. I gave her a small wave and continued walking to class. I adjusted my backpack on my shoulder and entered the classroom.
"I see Mr. Harris has decided to join us." My teacher said in a fake ammused tone.
"Good to see you too Ms. Brooks." I smirked and gave her a wink. She was a rather young teacher, only in her mid-twenties. She rolled her eyes and sat at her desk.
I spotted the girl in her assigned seat, reading a book. I didn't really know her name, I never catch it when teachers call her name during roll. I smirked and took the seat next to her. She didn't look up, too intrigued in the book.
"Whatcha reading there?" I asked lightly nudging her arm. She jumped a bit and looked over at me with wide eyes when she saw who I was.
I was the school's main bad boy and everyone knew who I was, so I think she was shocked when she saw it was me.
"J-Just a b-book." She stuttered out. She was really adorable. Her long hair was in a high ponytail, all her hair out of her face and her glasses resting on the bridge of her nose. She wore skinny jeans, a over-sized sweater, and Converse. She has a golded locket around her neck that she always wears everyday.
"I can see it's a book. And I'm guessing it has a title too. Mind telling me the title?" I said as I folded my hands on top of the desk.
"I-It's called Beautiful C-Creaters." She said as she put the bookmark in the book and put it back in her bag.
"Well you seem like a beautiful creature, too." I smiled at her. Her cheeks turn a dark shade of pink and she looked down.
The bell rang and Ms. Brooks started teaching. The girl took out her notebook and started writing down notes the teacher put up on the projector. Her handwriting was neat and clean, unlike mine which is a bit sloppy. I watched as she took notes and was listening to every word the teacher was saying.
The teacher asked some kind of question and the girl raised her hand to answer.
"Yes, Gianna." The teacher said and pointed at her to answer.
Gianna, so that's her name. It's beautiful, just like her.
