"That'll be two dollars" Aaron said as he handed over the wood blocks to the carpenter, Joe
"It's been hell of a storm last night, I thought rainy front was to finish last month." Joe said
"I thought so too." Aaron said keeping the conversation short.
"Indeed the sky was clear till last evening no piece of cloud was visible."
"Yeah. I should be going now" Aaron nodded

He hated people, no scratch that, he loathed them.

Since he was twelve the villagers had been nothing but hostile to him.
He considered moving somewhere else, but once he started living in the woods he got used to the peace there.

As he was walking around the market, buying a few things he needed for dinner tonight, a sudden push caused him to topple over to the ground. Ben was merely saved from getting crushed over by him.

"I'm so sorry" a sweet female voice said
He looked up and his eyes fell upon a beautiful girl, his heart picked up speed at merely looking at her.
She was wearing a green dress, as green as her eyes, she had red hair and was holding a basket, whose contents were now sprawled on the ground.

"Are you okay?" she asked concerned
Aaron managed to break the eye contact and he nodded
"Yeah I'm okay"
"I'm so sorry, I was in a hurry" she apologized
"No it's fine" he said standing up

She started picking up her things from the ground and Aaron decided to help.
"Here" he said picking up the last of her things.
"Thank you" she said
"I've never seen you around, are you new here?" He asked out of curiosity
"Um...yeah my family moved here some days ago. I'm Margaret" she said holding out her hand
"Aaron" he said taking her hand and shaking it
"And this is Ben" he said mentioning the dog
"Aw he's so cute, hi buddy" she said petting him

Suddenly a loud yelling filled the air and everyone turned around to see Steve,
"Help me, somebody. There's blood, lot of it" he shouted, his eyes wide
"Blood? where?"
"My....ranch" he heaved, terrified
"They're lost...they're gone" he yelled
"What happened Steve?" Joe asked
"My horses...they're gone"
"Gone?"

Everyone gasped and started talking in hushed tones

Aaron felt Margaret stiffen beside him.
He looked up at her face to find it pale as she had seen a ghost and eyes as wide as saucers.

In a swift movement she turned around and ran away from the group of people in the middle of the market.

Aaron ignored the chaos infront of him and ran after her, but as he rounded the corner Margaret was no where in sight, but stood before him was the Wilson mansion in all it's ghostly glory.

It was mostly the same like he had seen some eight years ago.

The air around the house was so cold, that Aaron's teeth started chattering.

The black wood of the house was covered with vines. And the door to the mansion was open and was swaying because of the strong, cold winds.

Ben whined and backed away from the house.
Aaron looked around but saw no sign of Margaret.
Sighing he went back to the market to find people still standing around Steve.
Ignoring them he went started walking back towards the woods, away from all the drama.
