Chapter 2
The party was horrible... I didn't mean for him to tell her then. The look on her face was... was like she was hurt or something... OH NO WHAT IS HE.... HE'S COMING OVER HERE.... can't be he knows not to talk to me infront of people... why is everyone staring at me.....
"Hey um... A can I alk to you a minute?" asked Duke.
"Sure." she said.
They walked off into an empty hallway.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"Someone told." he whispered.
"What?"
"Someone told the entire school about Naomi and how she is our daughter."
"Oh my god.."
Oh my god... who told... more importantly who knew.. and how did they figure it out.. OH NO... B and the girls.. i'm screwed...
"When did you plan on telling us?!?" shouted B.
Say something moron...
"Well?" asked B.
"I uh.... I wanted to but..." she hesitated.
"But what?"
"I didn't think you guys would understand..."
"Understand what? We've got it all figured out. How long have you to been together exactly."
"That's not..."said Duke before A interupted.
"We're not... anymore.. we had a thing a few years ago.. but that's in the past..." she lied.
"That better be the truth." said B.
B and the girls walked away. Duke looked at A.
"Why did you lie to them." asked Duke.
"To save your ass." she replied.
"Why?"
"Because I don't care if people know you just came into your life and your not leaving again. And had we told them you would have gone to jail.
"Fine it'll be our little secret as long as you want me to stay."
"I do. But only because she needs you in her life."
He moved closer and he kissed he.
What the hell is he doing...don't give in its a trick...
She pushed him away.
"What the hell are you doing." she shouted.
"The only way I will stay is if I can be with you." he said.
"Duke..."
"Do you want me to stay or not?"
"That's not fair."
"Why isn't it?"
"Because...because I love you damn it! There I said it I love you okay.."
"What isn't...oh.. look I don't care what the rules are. Let's break em'..."
"It doesn't work that way..."
"Come with me."
He grabbed her arm and pulled her somewhere. Next thing she knew they were in the woods surronded by a beautiful pond, a light rain, and Duke. Who was, when she turned around, doing something unblieveable.
He's not gonna....no he wouldn't... oh my god he is...
He got on one knee, pulled out a ring, and took her hand.
" Julia Ann Walsh... Will you marry me?" he asked.
