Last-minute

In Cebu City, this rich family named Jonathan Reyes, Shaina Reyes, and their daughter Samantha Reyes.  In December 2019, there was a disease developed named CoVid 19 or the so-called "Corona Virus Disease 2019". Jonathan is a doctor, Shaina is a teacher while their daughter Samantha is currently a 3rd-year college student. Coronavirus spread faster in Cebu City, the government-mandated the closure of primary, secondary, and Universities to ensure the safety of everyone. Samantha and Shaina stayed at home during the pandemic while Jonathan is fulfilling his job as a doctor. They always communicate through video call since Jonathan need to stay in the hospital. Dad always takes care of your health and take vitamins as well.
Another day, Shaina needs to attend a seminar with teachers and the host coming from  China. Shaina didn't tell her daughter that the host is from China because Samantha will not allow me to attend. Samantha reminds her mom to take care of the seminar and always sanitizer herself. I will Samantha responds to her daughter with nervous because Shaina didn't tell that the host of the seminar is from China.
They need to be safer since China has the largest rate of this virus. Suddenly when Shaina got home, she coughs and feels dizzy at the same time she shouts for help! Samantha runs to her mother when she hears the shout and sees her mother lying on a couch. She's anxious about what happened to her mom. She hears a cough, she touches her mother's head was so hot and remembered the sign of the virus. So she calls her dad and wears a mask for safety while sitting beside her mom.
Mom is lying on the couch right now, she has a fever and coughs. I run into her because I heard a shout that needs help. Dad promises me that you would take care of mom when she arrives in the hospital.
When the ambulance is in their home, Samantha can't stop her tears. Jonathan waits for the ambulance to see and take care of his wife. The ambulance arrives in the hospital, Jonathan sees the situation or illness of Shaina. Jonathan needs to do his regular job so he can't stay longer with Shaina.
The doctor checks Shaina through a swab test, Jonathan hears the negative news that her wife is positive for this virus. Shaina gets the virus during the seminar when they trace it because that's the only time that she gets out of their home.
Samantha waits for an update from her mom, she heard a knock and sees a nurse to follow the protocol contact tracing since her mom is positive for the disease. The next day Samantha lead her way into a swab test in a center near the house. Jonathan keeps reminding her to keep safe and they will pray for a negative result. After the swab test, Samantha got home with a call from her dad. Samantha, your mom is in the severe stage of coronavirus take care of yourself and pray that your mom will recover soon. Samantha cries and blames her dad all of the sudden. Your promise wait and take care of mom, why this happened. Samantha listen did you know that the host of the event is from China?
What? She didn't tell me about it, all I know is she will attend a seminar with teachers. Samantha, you need to understand your mom maybe because you won't allow her to go to the seminar because you're afraid but it's her job and responsibility. Dad, I want to see mom right now, please? Samantha, you need to stay at home. It's not safe even if you were in here you can't see your mom.
Jonathan visits her wife and sees the smile. Samantha smile at his husband because even if she felt dying at that time she wants to let her husband see that last smile. Jonathan wave and Samantha wave back because Jonathan needs to do his duty. While going to another patient he wears a smile because Samantha's smile may be a sign of recovery. After he visits one of his patients, when he was on the way to Shaina one nurse runs to him with a crying face. Dr. Jonathan your wife is in the
Jonathan runs without hearing the complete conversation of the nurse. He runs faster as he can, room 262 kindly check Doctor Jonathan Reyes an emergency. He did not lead his way to room 262 but on the way of his wife. Jonathan arrives in Shaina's room and he didn't see anyone. Jonathan cry and run into the mortuary to sees his wife and the doctor tap her shoulder I'm sorry Dr. Reyes. He cried and said, why? if I can spend the last minute with you maybe I can help you, maybe I can hug you, even calling our daughter and maybe I can say the word how much I love you. Jonathan calls his daughter and explained everything about what happened to his wife. Samantha cried and cried, hope I can spend the last minute to look at you. The next day, the ash Shaina gives to Jonathan, he brings it home and Samantha hugs him so tight. In the grief of her Mom, his dad and Samantha did not accept visitors since they can't accept that one of their family is a victim of coronavirus.
For the next 5 days, Samantha accepts positive news that she is negative. She tries to accept that they lost a family member and a victim of this virus. Let us spend every minute with our loved ones because when it vanished and will never come back.  This story helps us to realize that time will spend while life will end.
