"Do you remember now?" Aki asked softly as her tears were on the brink of spilling out.

Yeonjun looked down at this faded scars before letting out a small laugh. A tear escaped his eye as he looked up at Aki.

"I started acting hostile towards you because you couldn't remember much. It pained me and at some point, I just wondered; Wondered how you were living happily while I carried the weight of almost seeing the man I love die? Knowing you never opened up to me made me feel like I didn't know which side of you I was dealing with," Aki admitted as her tears constantly rolled down her face.

Yeonjun looked up at the girl as he cupped her cheeks, gently wiping her tears away.

"I'm sorry for making you suffer Aki. You don't know sorry I am for always leaving you in the dark," Yeonjun sniffled as the woman he loved finally broke down in front of him.

Yeonjun got up from his seat and made his way towards the sobbing girl. He crouched in front of her before pulling her into his warm embrace.

"This time, I won't leave you. Here, surrounded by these four white walls, I'll make and keep that promise for you,"
