Nathalia Hidalgo, a twenty-one-year-old lady and a third-year college student of Salazar Institute of Technology,  was known for being adorable, witty, hardworking,  kindhearted, and  God-fearing.    She was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her father works as a security guard of the school where she studies while her mother is a plain housewife.

" Andres stopped it. Please...stop. I was hurt... please...A...ndres."   Josefa begging Andres not to hurt her. 

"Dad,  stop hurting mommy!"   Nathalia shouted. 

But Andres never listened to her daughter.  He laid her hands to his wife's neck until it breaths no more. 

"Dad, stop it,"  Nathalia told her father. She tried to take away the hands of her father on her mother's neck,  but she couldn't do it.  Unfortunately, Josefa died. Andres took his hand and stayed away.

"Mom? Mom?..M-m-m-m-mom....." Nathalia screamed.
Help! Help! Please help us!  Nathalia yelled.

Mom...Mom...Mom..M-m-mom! Wake up! Nathalia shouted while shaking her mom.

Her mother, Josefa died. Her father was imprisoned.  Nathalia felt hopeless.   She also felt so much anger to her father.

" Where I'll go now? Why you leave me, mom? How to continue my life if you're not on my side.  I can't live without you.  Mom..mom..mom!" Nathalia, mumbled while moaning at her mother's funeral.

"Nathalia, please stop crying. Your mommy already  died..Let her rest in peace." Aunt Laura told her.
After Nathalia's mother was buried.  Aunt Laura adopts her since this is a spinster and  have a stable job and can surely support and give her needs.
"You can now call me mama."   "Don't worry Nathalia, I'll always be here for you." Aunt Laura said.

"Thank you so much, aunt".  Nathalia answered and wipe her tears.

"Governor Edgar Claveria imposed a total community lockdown in the whole area of Aurora Province due to the rapid spreading of Corona Virus Disease-19".   All of the residents were not allowed to go out of their house except if there is an emergency".  Announcer, Mr. Manuel Diaz's uttered over the radio.

Despite Nathalia's bad experiences,  she pursues her study with the help of Laura Zapanta, her mother's sister.

"I met one of the deans in your school, then she told me that you no longer have face-to-face classes because of the health crisis we are facing right now.  Instead, your classes will be done online". Aunt/ mommy Laura deciphered.

" Okay aunt  " Nathalia made a simple reply.

Nathalia doesn't move on from what did happen to her mother.  Every minute, hour, and even a  day,   all of those things will flashback into her mind.

"Nathalia...Nathalia.Nathalia gets up. It's already  8:00.  Her mommy aunt Laura waked her up.
"Oh, no!  I'm already late."  Nathalia said.

As she opens her laptop.

Mrs. Rodriguez:  Good morning! Ms. Nathalia Hidalgo, I have sent you an e-mail about your new activity to be passed Tomorrow.

Jen:  Nathalia are you ready for our exam today?
Mr. Herschel:  Sent an attachment.

Ms. Gomez: We have meet  up today at exactly 8:30 a.m.

Then,  Nathalia joined in their zoom meet with their instructor Ms. Gomez. But, a few minutes after she had been disconnected.

" OMG! My connection was lost. How could I attend my class? Huh!"  Nathalia uttered.
"Why is this happen?"  I can not open my google classroom app. Huhuhu!"  She added.

She gets irritated considering that of a poor signal and doesn't feel comfortable because it takes too long to open her google classroom app due to the poor signal in their place. Every time they have a zoom or google meet, it's hard for her.

She can't listen clearly and critically to the discussions of her teacher and even the announcements about the subject matter.  She has a ton of paper works and activities to do, but she doesn't know how and where to start due to the poor internet connection.

"Up until now,  my life filled with sorrows?    When does the problem would stop?  Why my life filled with difficulties? Why???" Nathalia questioned the above.

"Don't blame him. But instead, prayed and asked him  strength to fight against all the obstacles you are facing right now." Mama /aunt Laura told her.

"Sorry, Mom." I just can't believe if  'till now hardships are still with me.  Nathalia replied.

Because of the health crisis, they're facing, her life as a student became more complicated. She found out that online learning is dramatically stressful compared to before.

In her three years of studying in the university, it was the first time that she found herself dread and frankly have been mind-numbing due to the kind of learning platform they have. With that, Nathalia got depressed. She went to the kitchen and take the knife and trying to kill herself.  Her blood dripped into the floor.

Nathalia....put down the knife. Mommy Laura says it calmly.
If you killed yourself then I will be alone. You are my everything, Nathalia. Please!  You're the precious gift that I've had. You are my wealth. Mother Laura added.

The tears of Nathalia we're flowing down into her face. She put down the knife. Then,  Laura hugged her.

If you're sad because of your online class and your mother's loss,  then you have me. I can be your mom. I always here no matter what. I will be here in your days and night, in tears and joy, and ups and downs. I'll be here, always and forever.  Please don't do it again dear.  Laura added.

Nathalia wiped her tears...

"Yes, mom. I won't do it again. And sorry if I made you worried." Nathalia replied.
Laura hugged her tightly. And say: I love you so much, sweetie.

Nathalia's life was  COVERED BY DARKNESS
that makes her days gloom and  ruined her personal well -being due to the pain she  have felt.  The lost of her mother and the  struggles of online learning  darkened   the life that she had.

  According to Nathalia, no words can explain how much she was hurt  and depressed  when darkness was covered up into her bio. It seems like  her world was crushing out.
