Shifting to Hogwarts

my shift script

when I fall asleep tonight I will wake up in the griffindor dorm room, this is my waiting room. my name will be chabeli. everyone will call me by that name. I will smell old book paper as I wake up in my soft bed. the room is decorated with griffindor banners, other twin beds, candles, trunks, and a glass window to my left. I will feel comfortable and will hear people talking around me. my best friend will be remus lupin. he is extremely nice and incredibly funny. we will share the same interests. he can get hurt, but never die. we met on the hogwarts express the night before. I needed to find a compartment on the train and the marauders' compartment was the only one open. I went inside and was happily invited. remus was quiet and reading a book that i recognized. we started our first conversation about the book. I am five foot seven and look exactly as I usually do. I can feel pain, but I cannot die. I have light brown hair and light brown eyes. I will have bangs that tickle my eyebrows as well. I will have no acne and my makeup will be what I usually wear. light blush, mascara, foundation, concealer, and eyebrow gel. my clothes will be the griffindor uniform that fits comfortably. my wand will be moderately heavy in my hand. it will be black wood with leaves carved into it. my wand will fit perfectly in my hand. my patronus is a shark. my shoes will create a sound every time I hit a tiled floor. I will be wearing my green earrings and a gold necklace. 

I am upper middle class. I will not have to worry about spending coins at hogwarts, hogsmeade, or diagon alley. I will excel in every class. my friends will be loyal and loving. my professors will appreciate my hard work and dedication. I am set in the late seventies. students will listen to music on record players. music will include all 70s artists I know. I will go to parties. I will smoke and drink. I am somewhat popular in my griffindor house. my parents are both wizards. my dad used to go to hogwarts so some professors know my family. on the weekends i will wear stylish clothing. I will only wear muggle clothes on weekends and trips. my aesthetic will be light academia. my nails are always painted dark brown.

I have a light brown little owl named erika, she's sweet and loving and always lets me pet her. she usually lives in the owlery. my pajamas are blue two pieces. I always have matching socks. I get my clothes from my trunk, which has my initials. my trunk is always neat. I am sixteen years old. everyone else I know is also around the same age. I will be in year 6 of school. I will do good on my OWLS. I am exceptional at charms, potions, and ancient ruins. I share all my classes with the marauders. sirius and james can get hurt, but not die. peter can be killed. me and peter do not get along. james is a great friend. he is kind and trustworthy. sirius is also a very close friend of mine. he will always comfort me by making me laugh and he is extremely entertaining. i also get along with lily who also cannot die. when I am finished getting ready I always meet remus and the others in the common room so we can have breakfast together at the great hall. I will always know the common room password. one minute in my current reality is one day at hogwarts. my birthday sept. tenth which is ten days away from the start of term. my birthday will be celebrated with a party in the common room. i will never get my period.

before heading down to the common room, I write in my diary about the day prior. if it is my first day then I will not do this. I will remember everything from my year at hogwarts. when I am done writing in my small leather journal, i will head down to get breakfast and my day will start. I hide my journal inside my trunk. At breakfast, I will eat eggs, potatoes, and waffles. I will keep my accent and understand everyone else's.  I will not tell anyone that I have shifted. I cannot get stuck at hogwarts. to return to my original reality, i snap my finger three times next to my ear. if i am unable to do this, my safe word is "book thief".
